“Convenient location, average hotel”

This was my third visit to the Best Western Hotel Terminus in the past five years. The best things about the hotel are: the friendly, helpful staff; the close proximity to the Grenoble railway station (about 300 yards away, and well within sight from the station); and the free wireless internet. They offer a breakfast buffet for about 11 Euros, and that is a good value compared to my experiences at other European hotels. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and city public transportation. On the downside, the hotel's rooms are comfortable but in need of update, and they are small by American standards.

“Very acceptable hotel.”

Hotel was in the process of being renovated. This didn't intrude on our enjoyment though. Our roon was lovely with a view overlooking the Street and train station and a cute little balcony. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

“Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht”

In dem Hotelzimmer funktioinierte die Heizung nicht. Nach mehrmaliger Anfrage wurde ein viel zu kleiner Heizstrahler!!!! in das Zimmer gestellt. Frühstück kostet 11 Euro, was es nicht wert ist. Auch der Parkplatz wird mit 15 Euro Kosten/pro Tag veranschlagt (für Grenoble zu teuer). Das Hotel liegt zwar zentral, aber man kommt durch die schlechten Isolierungen erst spät in der Nacht zur Ruhe. Wird dann früh morgens wieder rechtzeitig vom Berufsverkehr geweckt. Alles in allem hatte ich das Gefühl das der Hotelbesitzer nur Geld verdienen möchte, aber dafür nichts leisten will. Ich werde dieses Hotel nie wieder buchen!!!
