All the staff were brilliant. Reception is covered by Jean Carlo, Martina and Jelena. They were very helpful and friendly. Happy in their work. Luigi the bar tender was very good and looked after us. 'Colombo' pool cleaner and room cleaner with all the cleaning team were very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel was spotless. Vito the chef makes the best scrambled eggs ever, Vincenzo the maitre looks after the dining area with the loveliest ladies who are on hand to provide for your needs. I had a massage which was amazing. Imma and Nicoletta both very experienced and very respectful. The hotel is very comfortable and has wonderful views of Ischia porto. Many restaurants in walking distance. We stayed 11 days and ate in a different place each night.

Nice hotel in close proximity to many dining options. Walkable from the port and to Aragonese Castle. Parking is off site but we were thankful for that option anyway - the town is tiny. Very nice stuff at the reception

What a great staff! Elena was very kind and helped me learn some words in Italian. Excellent recommendations on dining and local area services like laundry. I was especially fond of the young lady at breakfast; she has quite a sense of humor ("senza latte").

Typical Italian hotel. We were welcomed when we arrived early from our ferry ( within walking distance) and given our room, we’d booked one with a harbour view and patio. When we got to the room I found the toilet seat was broken, the excellent reception gentleman offered me another room while we waited for it to be repaired, in actual fact the maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes and replaced the seat so no need. Room very spacious as was the bathroom. Very clean and maid service with fresh towels and linen each day. Bed was very hard as was the single chair and the patio furniture outside, our backs really felt the hardness, could do with a mattress topper. Lovely view of harbour from patio. Air conditioning worked well and was needed as we were there for 5 days in the acute heatwave where the outside temperature was well over 35 each day! Downstairs was also air conditioned and breakfast each day was great. Limited hot food and an abundance of cold meats, cheeses,fruit, yoghurt and cakes Aragon’s palace aperol spritzers were the best on the island! Samples from the downstairs bar and the rooftop terrace! Would recommend this hotel to anybody, top marks

Best location and great service.
Located on the marina. You can see it as you arrive. Bus station nearby. Close to shopping street and beach. Seafood restaurants nextdoor. Professional staff. Great buffet breakfast. Elevator and pool. Big clean rooms. The best hotel to stay in Ischia.

Beautiful building with amazing views and located very conveniently by the port. By far the best hotel if you want to stay near the port and be within walking distance to the town and main shopping/restaurant street. We will definitely come again!

Great Hotel. Great Amenities: 2 pools, one outdoor on the roof and a thermal indoor pool. Area is great, close to bus station and the harbour. The staff was great and always willing to help.

Would never say it’s a 4star hotel. After 2 poor nights sleep was glad to get away, zero air conditioning working throughout the building. Very dated although most Italian hotels are. Had to ring reception regarding the aircon in which they just provided a stand alone fan. Staff was friendly but room/hotel very poor.

The property has the potiental to be amazing but needs updating. The beds were horrible, you felt the springs from the mattress, the shower had some mold and the grout on the tile floors was dirty. The bathroom towels were worn, thin and rough, definitely need new ones. The staff was very nice and the location is great. The hotel just needs to invest some money on upkeep. Definitely NIT a 4 star property.

Relaxing, with great views
This was my second time staying here. They upgraded me to a superior room with large terrace and views of the port, which was really nice. The hotel has great views of all the boats and a convenient location. I love the rooftop pool too. Breakfast is big and plentiful, with a reasonable number of savory options. The decor is a bit dated and after four days, you wished the bed was a little more comfortable, but overall it's a great hotel that is correctly priced. I will happily stay again.

It was an amazing hotel in one of their marinas with access to many restaurants in the marina and the lovely streets with shopping and more! The thermal pool was awesome !! Big room and bathroom! Very clean and had a restaurant with cold/hot breakfast which was included . A great stay !!

Good location, but dated and poor sleep quality
The hotel is well-located on the harbour with easy access to ferries and local buses around the island. It is a five minute walk from where the ferry docks. The harbour area has lots of restaurants and the main shopping street is just around the corner. The hotel has a rooftop pool with view of the harbour and an indoor pool for rainy days. Staff were welcoming and friendly. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. However, the hotel looks dated. Someone once spent a lot of money making this hotel look very tacky. Blue everything. Monogrammed everything. But it felt old fashioned and in need of investment to modernise it. We had a room at the front of the property, which was VERY noisy at night. The air-con in our room did not work / was switched off, so we opened the balcony doors to let in air. Big mistake: the harbour is constantly busy, with vans, porters and people congregating late into the night and early morning. It was loud, so we didn't get much sleep during our stay. Breakfast choices were limited. There is a hot breakfast option but it's not made clear and you have to ask for it. If I visit Ischia again I will stay somewhere else.

Nice hotel centrally located with an amazing view of the port of Ischia. There is a thermal spa and rooftop pool which made it very nice. The continental breakfast was amazing. Not sure I would stay here again since the bed was very hard.

A great hotel located directly on the harbour and with a wide choice of good restaurants and bars immediately nearby. Warm outdoor pool was a treat in mid October. Good buffet breakfast was replenished quickly on request. Would definitely stay again. Be sure to book a harbour view.

The reception, lobby and restaurant area were all very welcoming and nice. The room had a large balcony that overlooked a busy corner in the town. Balcony doors cut the noise but were hard to open, kept getting stuck. The breakfast was quite good. The room was spacious but was a bit stark and lacked vibe, needed a makeover by a professional decorator. There were strange plastic coverings on the chair and bed head. The wifi was terrible and after we let reception know about it we were given a cold shoulder. The pool area on the roof was quite good though the pool was a little small. Overall the stay was OK but definitely not 4 star.

Positives: 1. Friendly and helpful staff very accommodating. They upgraded our room (it was off season). 2. Location. So nice to hop off the ferry and go directly to hotel. This is huge. 3. Breakfast included. 4. Reasonable price. 5. Perfectly clean Negatives: 1. The biggest disappointment is what this hotel *could* be (or probably was?) The building needs renovations. Badly. The hot baths seem kitschy with the dark lighting. The blue tile throughout may have looked cool in the 80s but has not made it into the 2000s with class. The exterior needs paint and freshening. Investment in the building could really change the feel of the place. 2. They were ok, but the mattresses were a bit firm. 3. Had to ask several times for towels, not a big deal, but the towels themselves were really poor quality. !

Good sized room but could have done with a second chair - there was plenty of space for one. Bed linen on the skimpy side both in terms of size and quantity/quality - the sheet really was not big enough for a king size bed. But that is picking at details. The hotel is well located, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast choices.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location, lots of shopping, restaurants and bars close by. Beach was less than a 5 minute walk. Rooms were slightly dated, however we felt like it was excellent value for what we paid. Hotel was very clean and the AC was wonderful. Wifi everywhere, including the roof top pool.
