“Friendly staff”

We enjoyed an excellent stay at the aragona. The hotel is centrally located with friendly and helpful staff, and a good associated restaurant.

“First Class!!”

A great hotel in a great location with top staff! The hotel appears to have just been refurbished, and both the rooms we stayed in were spotless and well furnished. The first room was a standard double, and was good, but we took the chance to upgrade to a room with a balcony a view over the harbour. What a good move; the view was outstanding, and the breeze most welcome! The staff were great, and couldn't have been more helpful. The location is superb, right on the port, with loads of restaurants and bars close by. No hesitation at all in recommending this hotel.

“Stay here if you stay in Ischia”

But try not to stay in Ischia. The ferry takes too long to take you to some of the prettier, most exciting islands and cities in Amalfi Coast.

“Excellent Hotel Great Staff”

The hotel was lovely, Great location and really friendly staff providing advise on where to eat and go. The Spa provides very good treatments, Rooms are clean and well maintained. We had a great stay and would reccoment to others

“Ischias best value”

The Aragona Palace was ideally located, within walking distance to and close to the ferries, restaurants, shopping, bus station. All of the hotel staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to answer questions and provide additional information. The food was good and quite a variety at breakfast. The roof top pool was very nice and relaxing, with awesome views. The in room computer system couldn't be beat. The room size, decor, cleanliness and the adjacent outdoor patios off of the rooms were as good as and better than most accomodations on the island of Ischia, including a 5 star "leading hotel of the world" that we had stayed in before. The Aragona Palace was by far the best value and can't be beat. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

“Great Hotel, Great Location”

Loved this hotel. We stayed for one night in October. The staff was great, the accommodation great and the location can't be beat. We were only sorry we weren't staying for more than one night.

“Superb hotel on a beautiful island”

True italian island, great views, great boat trips and very romantic castles and beaches. The only downside was the traffic on the island, the roads were never designed to cope with this amount.

“Definately going back!”

The Hotel Aragona Palace is without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the rooms were spacious and clean, with maid service twice daily. We had a large balcony overlooking the harbour with a table and chairs and two sun loungers where we could relax. The rooftop pool was perfectly placed to catch any breeze during the hot days. We were half board and very pleasantly surprised by the choices on offer each evening from the four courses served. The situation of the hotel was perfect for strolling around the corner to the shops or having a drink or bite to eat in one of the harbourside bars. We definately plan to return to this first class hotel.

“Perfect in every way”

We stayed at Aragona for two weeks and we were looking for both relaxation and things to do. The island and the hotel provided both! The hotel is unbelievably close to the harbour. After a very long journey, we were very pleased to find Aragona only 2 minutes away from the main port, but it was in no way noisy. Our room was on the fourth floor and our window overlooked the fantastic terrace and swimming pool. The swimming pool provided the perfect getaway after a hot day and it has an amazing view of the harbour. The staff are very friendly and always with a smile. There was nothing they couldn't do for us and always provided us with ideas of things to see and places to visit. The breakfast at the hotel is also fantastic with a massive selection of pastries, coffees and fruit and also with a group of staff that are very polite and efficient. It is worth mentioning that the evening meal at the hotel is also amazing, with a fantastic range of antipasti, followed by delicious primi piatti, secondi and desserts. Lastly, the hotel's thermal spa is also a brilliant way to finish a day of sunbathing, relaxing in the heated swimming pool and making use of the facilities. All in all, we could not have wished for a better hotel to have stayed at and it is definitely one that we are hoping to go back to one day. The facilities are fantastic and the rooms are checked twice daily, but it is the attitude of the staff that makes it a four star hotel.
