We checked in for a 2 night stay. We opened our room and the window was wide open when it was 30 degrees outside? After closing the window and warming up the room, the aroma of vomit lofted from the vicinity of the bathroom and entry way. The shower would not drain indicating it was highly likely there was chunks of vomit stuck in the drain. In the morning, I requested a new room and was told they were sold out. I wonder who thought it was ok to leave bodily fluids on a carpet without proper cleaning? Then decide to issue that same room to visitors. We did receive a new room which was acceptable and pretty clean in comparison. It is hard to find good help these days with poor wages and work ethic is almost foreign at this point. We have stayed here many times over the years and this was a pretty bad experience. The folks behind the desk aren't horrible, but don't exactly express friendliness either. Hoping our next stay is much better if we choose to come to Americinn Inver Grove Heights any longer.

The pool area was spacious as was the hot tub. Hot tub was hot instead of lukewarm like most and had jets that moved the water nicely. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I kinda threw a curve ball at them and it was handled with ease.

Everything was very good, good breakfast, rooms, just the shuttle to the airport is so bad the schedule is not very good organized, I have to wait 1 hour at terminal 1 for them to pick me up, the parking is not at the hotel,they take you to another parking lot so is not comfortable it all!! Otherwise the hotel is very good,they have to improve in transportation.

Americinn in Inver Grove Heights is a convenient close location to family and the price per night is affordable. The hotel has received a facelift and there is some nice improvements. However, when the plumbing is leaking and soaking the carpet under and near the sink and it was very apparent no one cleaned the vanity or tub, pretty big turn off. I realize this is one person that likely didn't care about the quality of their work, but it reflects on the entire experience and business itself.

Our stay was absolutely horrible!!! Check in took forever. We needed a roll away bed and my brother found a dead cockroach in the blanket!!! The beds we so uncomfortable and the bedding wasnt clean the floors didn't look vacuumed in our rooms!!!! The bathroom was so tiny u couldnt even get dressed in it after taking a shower. We asked to speak to a manager and kept getting the run around. We will never stay here again

This stay was due to son in the hospital. They were accommodating with parking. Breakfast was awesome as we needed to be at the hospital early and didnt arrive back at hotel until late. Well lit parking lot.

Fireplaces dont work which they dont tell you when you book the room, there was trash and linen in the hallways because they only do housekeeing every 3 days to cut back on bills and theres literally a sign in the room that says just that, there was a accident in front of the entrance to get to the hotel so i had to park about a half mile away and walk with my belongings. Jacuzzis are very small.
