Location is perfect, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Staff was amazing and the most helpful I have ever encountered. Szylvia, the concierge, recommended great restaurants, help us with travel arrangements, and even helped find some items we were shopping for. Pauley, helped us at check in and showed us how everything in the room worked (lights and shades can all be adjusted from a switch by the bed).
Complimentary breakfast had great food choices. They also served complimentary wine and appetizers from 5:00 to 8:00 and had great live music too. The rooftop bar is spectacular and has amazing views of the Basilica and the city lights. Attila was the perfect bartender and even got us reservations at a restaurant when we realized that since it was a Saturday night we might have trouble getting a table. The hotel also has a wonderful spa which had a great massage therapist. Absolutely the best hotel stay I have ever had!
Arrived for a week's stay. Location next to the Elisabeth Bridge, and the main high street, Vati Ucta, meant that the hotel was central to both good quality restaurants and attractions. Decor is red/black with Buddha undertones which we thought was fab.
Pretty much perfect short break. Great hotel just off Liberty Square. Staff helpful and friendly, all with excellent English. Budapest is a great city with much to offer the tourist and we were lucky to have lovely weather.
This hotel is located very centrally, near lots of restaurants and a large indoor market. Our double superior room was a good size with plenty of storage. In the bathroom there was a sunflower head shower. The buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
On the eastern side of the Danube, Pest is Buda’s flatter, edgier cousin. Tree-lined Andrassy Avenue was originally designed as Budapest’s answer to the Champs-Elysees. Heroes’ Square lies at the eastern end of Andrassy Avenue and is home to the impressive Millennium Monument. Hungarian gifts, food, and souvenirs can be found in Pest’s multi-storey Great Market Hall, the largest in Budapest.
