Nice view of the back steps

Posted 06-Apr-2015
I felt that this hotel gave us their worst room because we paid less for it with Expedia, they were not full and could have given us a better room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and pillows even worse (flat and hard), asked if there were any other pillows available and was made to feel that this request was extremely inadequate. This hotel is in a beautiful part of Ireland with amazing views but the staff and the tired condition of this hotel make it impossible to recommend it to anyone, unless they are prepared to lower their prices.

Sleepless night

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Hotel was nice but they don't tell u about the night club across the road at the back of the hotel. Never slept, music shouting cars spinning round the car park. Disappointed will not be back.

Beautiful hotel , great facilities

Posted 08-Feb-2015
Had a nice stay at the Redcastle hotel spa , the first room I booked was too small for me and my partner , so we asked could we upgrade and they set that up immediately with a €50 fee. the staff were very friendly and helpful ! Loved the pool , steam room Etc ... Only bad thing is that rooms could do with a update , some lights in room didn't work & carpet was stained , rug was old .. But my over all stay was great! I would definitely come back !

Had a lovely relaxing stay although only for one night, everything was good except for the breakfast, the hot part ie bacon, eggs etc were cold. We did not inform the waiters but did inform reception on our departure, also the furniture could do with some updating other than this everything was good and would not hestitate to return again sometime

Haste Ye Back

Excellent hotel with very friendly, helpfull staff. Comfortable with ideal leisure facilities. Set in a beautiful part of Inishowen. Looking out over the river Foyle is an ideal way to enjoy breakfast. The very very minor downside was no marmalade for breakfast (none left) and the shower in the room was adequate but could do with an upgrade otherwise I would give full marks and hope to return soon.

Room spotless

We stayed here for one night October 2014 and enjoyed are stay more than we expected the food was very good including the breakfast we stayed in a basic room we had no view but the room itself was very clean the bathroom was like new. Donegal itself is a beautiful place and well worth a visit we stayed here after spending a week staying in the Hilton Malta and where more impressed with are room here surprisingly!

Great Hotel

Great Hotel, Great selection at breakfast was a little disappointed with the hot food , some was over cooked. But on the flip side the bar food was top rate , (maybe breakfast was just a blip that morning, as breakfast here before was very good) Wifi could be better in the rooms..
