Abit disappointed with the check in procedure if you arrive after 5pm. Given a code which I assume other people have access to and you key is in an envelope that is available to the public. After a long trip the rooms its self had been set up for one person meaning I could not get extra towels or pillows. Uncomfortable night. Too hot as the air conditioning was not very good. Did not want to open the window due to mosquitoes. I get there are no additional amenities due to covid such as water and coffee facilities but this did not reflect on my booking and so I did not expect this. There was dust and water marks which made suspicious of whether the room had been deep cleaned due to covid. Was a good location for stop off. But overall not worth the money we had paid.

Overnight stop
Really polite, lovely staff. Very comfy bed, warm room, plenty of space. Good bathroom. Convenient for an overnight stop. Just needs a little redecorating.

Nice pool although no sun beds around pool. Just a few chairs. Some were broken. Our first room was not suitable , full of broken glass from a broken shower door so we had to swap and They had to hoover that before we could stay in the second room The staff were friendly Though and changed the room without a problem. Good place to stop off of travelling from Uk To south Of France.

Good for an overnight stop
This was an overnight stop en route to the south of France. Hotel is 3*. Location is OK as near a commercial centre with restaurants etc to walk to. Rooms could do with a refurb, but all clean and all OK.

Would not go back.
Hotel is old and in need of renovations. Staff are not helpful. Only some rooms are air conditioned. The first room they put us in had a leak and smell. They moved us to a room with no air conditioning. The family room is really not a family room there is a double bed and two cots put in the room.

Very acceptable hotel for an overnight stay.
Once we had found it everything was fine. Important to know it is not in Tours which has a street with the same name. Having sat for a few minutes in a very residential area a french lady came out and said - another english lot lost- and told us how to find it in the separate town of Joue les Tours with the same street name. Restaurant (which is only Mon to Thu) was very good and saved having to leave the hotel to find a meal. Definitely recommended for an overnight stay en route or perhaps longer if reason to be in Tours.

Great pool, shame about the room
Great swimming pool, plenty of parking, but the room stank of stale urine and there was no air con, so a choice of stinking heat or noisy open window and a room full of mosquitoes.

Location close to Tram in Tours
Spent one night in the Kyriad Hotel - Joue les Tours with a pleasant room, good bed, and satisfactory room facilities. Close to the tram (3 min walk) which takes about 20mins to Tours station. Walk to restaurants and bars about 15 mins. Breakfast was fine. I would recommend dining at a restaurant rather than the dinners in the hotel which are pre-prepared.

Great stay
Really good stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean. We actually booked an extra not when we were there. Only 2 minute walk to the tram into town

Okay for an over night stay
The hotel is hard to find, there no signs on the hotel to say this is the Best Western, in fact I was surprised Best Western put their name on this hotel. We stayed for one night. Staff were very pleasant the room was clean but small, bed was comfortable and we have a high standard with bed, I'm a chronic back pain sufferer, it's fine for an overnight stay. We didn't have breakfast but we found a subway nearby at a shopping centre, we also ate there the night before, it was a restaurant with an American theme, rather like an Eddie Rockets.

All right but should look after the pool more
Absolutely fine except that they really don't make the most of the pool area (being the pool the reason why we went for this hotel). There were only 2 loungers, one of which was broken. We reported it to reception and staff was not interested or apologetic about it. Pool is fenced so you can't really lie on the grass outside around it either. Other than that it was fine.

Great place for an overnight stop, friendly staff and clean and comfy rooms, A little disappointed by the breakfast as items were not replenished, so had to make do with what was left. Would I stay here again? Yes but would go without the pricy breakfast

Great value and comfortable.
Really nice room and incredible value for the price. Evening meal was OK but the breakfast, though expensive at €13, was very good. ideal for an overnight break to a long journey. Access to Tours centre easy tram. Staff all very friendly and excellent English spoken at reception. On-site car parking was ample and free. Will use again when travelling this route.

Reasonable hotel but no aircon and noisy
The Hotel was ok. The weather was quite warm and with the window open was noisy with people coming and going during the night. A good base to explore the Loire Valley and easily accessible by car. The old part of Tours is a good place to go and eat, lots of choice and a good atmosphere, and is easily accessible by tram that runs close to the hotel. I wouldn't personally recommend eating at the hotel. The meal we had was not that great. I would recommend the hotel, but it's borderline because of the noise.

Good location for visiting Tours and the Loire
Good comfortable stay, good choice of breakfast and near to the tram for visiting the town of Tours. Staff we're very helpful also and gave us advice as to where to go etc. Also good location for continuing to travel further south.

Hotel OK, but food services not great.
The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpfull. Thank you. Breakfasts were expensive, 13 Euro's, and buffet was limited to only a few selections. What was on on the buffet was not replenished. We skipped the breakfast on our second day and opted for a major fast food chain instead (that should be telling in itself). We didn't eat at the restauraunt for dinner so I can't comment on the food quality in the evening. I can say that I saw very few other's eating at the restaurant and that the dinner menu also seemed quite expensive for a Best Western. Our family of 4 stayed in a "Family" suite. Which meant there was one doulble bed and two twin beds in a standard sized room - very tight and little room to move for 4 people.

Handy hotel for visiting chateaux. Clean room, friendly staff, adequate restaurant (portions a bit small for the prices). The pool is a nice extra, especially with kids.

Nice hotel, quiet, with the Tram over the road
We stayed at this hotel for just 2 nights, to break up our journey from the south of France back to the car ferry. The plan was to rest, see a bit of Tours, and then head on again. Tours is a nice town, the old part is very scenic, and the people were very friendly - especially if you try to speak in French (no matter how basic your language skills are).

Pleasant experience!
The pool was a very nice touch after a hot day walking around tours (which was, unexpectedly, a lovely city). The hotel itself is a bit dark, but my room was perfect. Clean and very comfortable. Great bed and shower. The only complain I had was that there's no air conditioning, but in the evening I just opened the window and it was cool enough. Also, I have to mention the tennis court- I didn't have my racket but definitely would have taken advantage if I'd brought it. I highly recommend this place for the basic necessities with just a bit more.
