“Extremely Unkept”

close proximity to Lucas Oil Field and the downtown district but the hotel was not clean. The sheets and bedding had the smell and look of not having been washed.

“Better in Daylight”

We unfortunately had arrived LATE into the night to check into the hotel. Not a good impression at all. There were some very interesting characters wandering around the hotel parking lot and surrounding areas. Had we not been a party of four I think I would have been slightly concerned with my safety. We were given the LAST room in the hotel, a handicap room right by one of the exits. We must have had smokers in our hallway because the exit door to the building slammed shut ALL night long. I will say that the room was clean. Not the nicest decor, but we couldn't complain about the cleanliness. Once daylight hit the hotel improved a bit. The free breakfast was minimal, but juice and waffles in the morning was a nice redeeming quality. The hotel is right off the highway, so it was easy to find, but not the best neighborhood. The price was right for what we need but next time I'll pay more to stay in a nicer neighborhood.

“Disappointing”

The hotel is in bad need of remodeling. The hall had the musty odor of poor maintenance. The carpet was worn. Sadly, I found the same problem in the room, though turning on the air helped with the odor. The door stuck when opened or closed. Positives were that the wireless worked well and the room had a refrigerator and microwave.

“So So”

The hotel was OK. There was a smell in the room when you first walked but after awhile you got used to it. The beds were comfortable but it wasn't the cleanest. Could never get the Internet to work and that was a main concern... even was told that it should work because we were close to router. Continental breakfast was nice... waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy..

“Dump”

Dirty rooms, unclean linens. Smoke odor in rooms and hallways. Staff was unhelpful.

“I'll stay here next time I'm in Indy”

We liked it so much we asked to have our stay extended, rather than moving elswhere when our Indy commitments were completed.

“eh”

If you want a cheap place to stay then its perfect. Staff was nice. Hotel was old, musty, my clothes smelled like smoke when we got home. We are nonsmokers and supposedly in a nonsmoking room.
