“Barf in the hallway, criminals outside, squatters in the lobby”
When we first arrived in Indy at 3 pm, it seemed nice. By 11 pm it was a different story. There were two girls laying on the ground in hand cuffs while their car was being searched in the valet parking area. Near the elevators on the ground floor there was a pile of vomit. Instead of cleaning this up, the hotel put a "wet floor" sign next to it. There were people sleeping with no shoes on in the lobby. Their kids had toys and games spread across the floor like they were camping out for the night. Walking outside and around the hotel we did not feel safe. I would stay at this hotel again, but only if it was in a different city. Indianapolis was scary. Yikes.
“Great Hotel in Indy”
Spring Hills Suites was a great, modern, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel. The staff was very helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable with a great view of Downtown and the Indy Zoo.
“Nice for a one-person room”
This Springhill Suites is nearly new at the time of this writing. The room is nicely decorated with a very modern feel to it. The room is mostly comfortable if you aren't sharing it with anyone. The shower and toilet each have separate rooms and the doors of each are sliders which can be noisy. The doors to the toilet and shower rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear everything that in the person inside is doing, which might disrupt your sleep if the other person makes a late-night trip to the toilet. Also, the door separating the shower room from the main room is translucent glass. Therefore, the main room gets lit up if someone is in the shower room, again making it difficult to sleep if someone else is up. I could not understand how to set the thermostat, as the characters in the display were not English. As a result, I had to revisit the thermostat several times during the night to guess whether I was adjusting the temperature up or down. The glass shower door and seal did not fit correctly, so plenty of water pooled outside the shower door.
“nice rooms, good breakfast, bad view.”
Nice, clean hotel with wonderful hot buffet breakfast. Missed having a tub in room.
“Great location”
Close to city attractions and great for football game.
“Wonderful place”
Great location and very nice hotel. Would stay there again.
“Trendy, Hip, and Alright with Me!”
I booked a suite at the SpingHill Suites downtown for a friends bachelorette party. Conveniently the room was decorated in the exact color of the wedding which drew me in. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and trendy. The location is good as it is right across the street from the canal. The hotel even had extra security as you had to use your room key to get use the elevator. If I didn't live in Indianapolis, I would stay there again!
“Marriot Springfield; zakelijk maar strak”
Prima hotel voor een paar dagen. Zwembad is minimaal maar allemaal keurig uitgevoerd. Service is prima. Ze hebben ook geschakelde kamers. Douche/badkamer ok, maar is altijd wat krap als je 2m lang bent :-) Bedden lekker stevig, voldoende kussens en lakens. Er kan geen raam open.
