“Good Value right downtown”
Sheraton was one of the least expensive hotels right in the heart of downtown. Found it clean and well run. Shower was a bit slow, elevators sometimes passed by the floor, turned off the button and I had to pay attention and re-push it. Was a bit miffed by the cab cue, where they seem to "insist" that you get in the cab who's "turn it is" though the GET IN fee can change by as much as $2.
“Everything but Good Wifi”
The hotel was in the perfect location, it was easy to get to and the staff was wonderful. The room was incredibly comfortable. My only complaint is that wifi in the room costs over ten dollars per day when it is available for free at less expensive hotels. The night I was there I couldn't make the pay-for-internet option work, either. There is free wifi in the lobby, which worked fine, but it meant I had to go downstairs to do anything over the internet on my laptop. Otherwise my stay was wonderful.
“My Indianapolis Digs”
I found the Sheraton Indianapolis City Center Hotel an excellent place to stay. It has elegant accommodations, right in the downtown area, close to the convention center and athletic facility, comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast. Make sure to get a room that is not next to the elevators. This hotel receives my highest accolades!
“walking distance everywhere.”
It was a great stay but the charge $25 per night for parking. Not too happy about that. However once we were staying with in the city we could walk everywhere, even Lucas oil stadium, which is why we were there.
“Not impressed. Door fell off hinges, sent to wrong room.”
We were sent to the wrong room at check in....someone was in that room, Our door was falling off the hinges, we had no menu in the room for room service. When we did get a menu, room service was over $100.00 and the food was mediocre at best. We would not go back.
“Best Sheraton stay experience”
Great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean. Highly reccommend.
“NO Problems ! VERY Happy!”
First time in a long time I stood in a high rise/luxary style hotel and I was real pleased with everything and price was decent. Room was very clean, great view of the city and good location. In town for Steeler game alng with a Fever game and hotel was close enough to both locations, Personal was very helpful and friendly with everything .... I wish I had gotten names to give them credit ( stood in room 2009 from 9/24 to 9/28) Young lady who checked me in even rememebered my full name on the third night of my stay. I had a problem with the iron in the room, they sent somebody up from housekeeping who came in, gave me another , made sure it was good with no hassel. ALSO i was impressed and shocked to see a REAL HAIR DRYER in the room. Not like most hotels who have one of those wall attachment things. Having the use to free internet and computers in bar and lobby was great and saved me $$ v.s paying for in room access. Overall liked everything and will return again!
“It's a HOTEL!”
Great location. Great TV in room. They were rebuilding the pool so that kinda sucked.
“An Indy Weekend”
The hotel was in the middle of downtown Indianapolis. It was close to shops and restaurants. The room needed repair so it was only okay. But the beds were comfortable. Of all the Sheratons I've stayed at this one was not at the top of my list.
“Very nice hotel in downtown Indy.”
I loved the service and the room. I didn't like the fact that downtown Indianapolis seems to totally go quiet after 5 on Friday. that has more to do with the culture of the city itself, not the hotel.
