This hotel even had a sign on the front desk explaining that the hotel was closing on the 5th. This was the worst hotel stay I have had in my whole life and the whole city was sold out do to GenCon. This hotel should have been condemned! My better half said and I quote “this is a dead hooker kinda hotel”. Your website and this site wasn’t even close to honest about how condemned this hotel looked or functioned. My better half took pictures and submitted them to the clarion hotel website along with a nasty note of displeasure.!

The property closed the day after we left. That was pretty unique. The list of issues are extensive. This place needs an overhaul. Would like my money back...

Clean room. Unfortunately, the building itself was a bit rundown. Found out our last night there that the hotel was shutting down for good.

I would guess this hotel is scheduled to be torn down. It is very unkempt, screws missing, paint worn through, tiles cracked. I honestly feel really bad for the staff. They did their best to keep smiles on. While we were there all of the vending machines were removed. The ice makers did not work, ine elevator never opened and the one that did work looked like a death trap. I hope these people find good employment.

Need a bed and a shower? This is your place.
Very old economy hotel. In need of a lot. Clean beds and fresh towels and toiletries. Not much else. Complementary breakfast was pretty bad and when it was gone, it was gone (often way before the 9:30 end of breakfast). This hotel is one of the lowest priced for the just outside Indy area but next time I would spend a little more and try somewhere (anywhere) else. I'm not at all picky but this place is pretty lacking.

At the time of writing, this is a tired, slightly run-down hotel. The carpets were stained, most of the elevator lights did not work and only one of the two elevators were working. But the room I had was adequate. The AC worked well, though the water pressure in the shower could be better. A believe the hotel was going through a renovation when I stayed there. The second day I was there all the vending machines were removed. The free breakfast, while nothing fancy, certainly filled me up and it was nice not to have to stop somewhere else to get breakfast. So the best word I could describe for this hotel is "Adequate". I wanted a place to sleep and a free breakfast. This hotel certainly provided that. Not much else, but it did its job.

The smell as you walk in was unpleasant. Staff was friendly but when I called and asked about schedule a cab Iwas told I don’t. Know but you can Google it. Elevator floor buttons did not light up

We have stayed here off and on since 2003, but this is the last time. I can say that the staff was very good, and there is a shuttle to the airport and a laundry room, but the restaurant and bar are not operating. The fitness room was bare bones with 5 mismatched free weights, so I walked through the halls to get some exercise. They were dirty, sketchy and chirping smoke alarms were heard in 5-6 different locations. The carpet in one hallway was squishy wet and there were a couple of mice running across another. Such a shame to see this property in such conditions.

The property was ‘t well kept. The weeds out front were over a foot high. The floors and carpet was dirty. The paint was worn off of the elevator doors. My opinion is that the entire place needs a cleaning and update. I booked this room for my daughter so she could get to the airport for her early morning check in. I have forward this to her for her opinion.

The appearance was terrible when you pulled onto the property. The grass was not cut and the shuttle van, which was black, was really dirty. Upon entering the hotel, it was hot because the air was out in the lobby and dining area(s). The elevators were not clean and the floors were nasty. There was only one set of towels in the bathroom when clearly there should have been two due to being a double room. The telephone didn't work so you couldn't call the front desk. We asked for extra blankets which we never got. The smoke detector was removed from the room leaving the wires hanging. This room wasn't worth the money I paid!! Very disappointing!

We didn't even stay at the property. The elevator was broken, there wasn't a restaurant on site as advertised and the place was filthy! The only good thing about the hotel was the woman at the front desk. She didn't seem surprised at all that we didn't want to stay.

WTH! Spend the xtra $30 and stay elsewhere!!!!
WTH! Dont stay here. Rooms get a surface clean clean every day. Hotel is really run down. Staff doesnt seem to care about the the building or the service that should be offered to guests. Hallways have a funky "old smell". We were given keys to our room and someone was still in there. They apologized and gave us a different room. Its a mess!

Got there late and there was already a lady customer in front of me complaining about how she called down for towels an hour before and still not received any. That was a foreboding event I thought. Then when I got to my room, there were 3 dingy white hand towels :) Not sure what to do with those when it comes to my shower. Hotel was OK, showed age, .. but I thought the Housekeeping Dept definitely didn’t do their jobs.

I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone. We picked it because it was close to the air port. The room was clean, the air conditioner wasn’t working right, bathroom was dirty, urine On the back part of the toilet, cob webs, dirty floor I’d say had been while since it was sweep. I wouldn’t take my shoes off to walk around in our room and I’m husband wouldn’t even shower in the bathroom. The only Good thing was the Chinese restaurant that delivered to the hotel was really good. The restaurant at the hotel is Permanently closed .

Black mold in tub. AC not working in all common areas of hotel. Broken desk drawer left on floor in our room. Elevators both malfunctioning; car doesn't line up with floor creating a tripping hazard, Only working ice machine on the sixth floor. Ceiling in our room peeling. Lifted cushion on easy chair in room to retrieve my keys and found an assortment of peanut shells and gummy bears. (Disgusting).

Counter staffing rude, water damage at front desk, a/c not working, restaurant was closed down, elevators we're dangerous kept moving when doors opened, bad smell in hotel hallways, room had peeling paint and no shower curtain, when we arrived, we were late getting in so we called ahead to let them know and when we arrived they still did not have room ready, so we had to wait with no apologies from staff. We could not sleep was very noisy could hear people walking down hallway sound like they were inside room. We cut our stay short one night was too much. When we asked about the restaurant being closed there response was to go across the street to the hotel down the street they had one. I have stayed in two other Clarion hotels they were excellent. The company should either take the name off the building or close it. Top ten worst hotels. I've stay at. If you decide too stay here Good Luck.

We appreciate the airport shuttle, especially at our late arrival time. Thank you very much! And the driver is one friendly fellow. We enjoyed his company very much! We had a long flight from Asia and slept so well in the cool and comfortable room, especially the bed. Thank you for everything. It is convenient to have you so close to the airport. The property was rundown and in need of repair/upgrades. The lobby is nice but the rooms have stained ceiling tiles, cobwebs in the corners by the window, cracked paint in several areas where repairs were made, mismatched paint where a hole in the wall was repaired.

The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. She was even able to upgrade us to a larger room, even though we did not request it. She also helped us with transportation to and from the airport. Both of our drivers to and from the airport were also very nice and friendly. The not-so-good is that there is no longer a restaurant. They did serve breakfast though, and it was actually very good. Also, there was no hot water for the shower. Not a good way to start your morning.
