“Good Time!”
I had a whole different expectation about this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that it was really big and comfortable. Vere well equiped, had everething necesary to a pleaseant stay. The little kitchen was very practical and eficient. The people at the front desk were very helpfull and kind with all my my questions and requests. The only thing is that it's a little far away from the city center (45 min. walk). I had no car and were mainly walking and in bus, but with a good weather (wich unfurtunately I didn't had) it's a beutifull scenery to have a walk. It has its own shuttle to downtown though, and just outside the hotel is a bus station for regular bus. Overall, a great option at an afordable price for staying in Indianapolis.
“Very Nice”
The hotel was very nice, if a bit far from the convention center. For reasons I can't even figure out, I reserved a 2-room suite, even though I was there alone, so I had MORE than enough room. When I first got to the room, neither of the 2 TV remotes worked, but they were replaced Very Quickly with 2 that did work. Probably within 10-15 minutes from the time I called the front desk, before I had working remotes. I was only in town for the Gen Con convention, and didn't spend any time using any of the other facilities the hotel had to offer. The entire suite was in Excellent shape overall, and I'm already considering staying there again next year.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
A lot of room and comfort for the price. A second bathroom or even half-bath would have been a welcome addition for the 4 adults staying there. But the pool was nice, the kitchen well equipped other than the 4-cup coffee maker.j But I wasn't fond of the rather loud metal closet doors. All in all, we'll definitely check them first the next time we're travelling to Indy.
“felt like a dorm”
It was nice being so close to IUPUI, although I was a little concerned when driving out into the surrounding neighborhood looking for food. I found a Taco Bell only to realize there was a strip club across the street. Aside from that, there weren't any problems at the hotel itself. It was nice getting a little apartment-sized hotel room, even though I was there for two nights only.
“Not good”
Hotel had good proximity to downtown. Hotel had worn interior and exterior appearance. Dated furniture in rooms. Virtually no amenities. Would not recommend this hotel to another person. I felt room rate was not a good value compared to the condition of the room and overall interior and exterior appearance of hotel.
“good for the price”
Figure 20- 30 dollars if you are cabbing it downtown...otherwise, it is a good place to take a family because of the kitchenette and the large space.
“Student Dorm”
It was a Colts game weekend so the downtown hotels were booked. This was the closes option. The price was reasonable but it's more suited for college aged kids which I'm not.
“Caution is advised”
The "motel" is actually a dorm for college kids and they rent some rooms out as a motel. That isn't so bad, just somthing to be aware of. We got 2 rooms, both 1 bedroom non smoking. 1 room was exactly like I would have expected, very nice, clean. The second room was very poor condition. The walls were cracked and the kitchen was falling apart. There was no socket for the deadbolt to go into the door jamb. The bathroom was very small. There was an ashtray in the room and it smelled strong of smoke. The lady at the desk assured us it is a non smoking room and removed the ashtray which apparently makes the room non smoking. I would not go back to this motel if it was the last one in Indianapolis.
“Good enough...”
A very good hotel but too distant from downtown. It has a shuttle, though, that can take you to the main areas.
“Good Hotel”
Spacious room and affordable.
