A pleasant stay
A very pleasant b&b with a very good value breakfast in a quiet area within a 10 minute walking proximity to the centre. The rooms are very small but adequate. Our bathroom shower was a bit problematic, but useable. Don’t expect your towels to be changed during your stay (we were there for 4 nights), but I don’t suppose you would at home either. Very hospitable couple who run the hotel and happy to sort out your taxis.

Nice stay in Dinard... Oo la la
Overall a very good stay... The owners were really nice & assisted with anything we needed. everything in dinard is walking distance from the Hotel, We had a breakfast on the first day & it was buffet styled & was enough to get you ready for a day in the small town.. I would recommend this hotel for any stay. Will return sometime in the future & and us it as a base to explore the different areas in brittany...

Good central hotel
Good hotel about 10 minute walk from main beach and restaurants. Good choice at breakfast, although space is at a premium so everything is laid out on the bar counter. Making a cup of tea is very fiddly but with a bit of skilful manoeuvring it can be achieved! Not all the bedrooms are the same - we had bedroom 8 which is in a courtyard with a patio area. No decent mirror in the bedroom which is a particular gripe of mine with most hotel bedrooms. Mirrors are essential.

A little gem
Coming from Jersey, we often have these short trips to France either to St Malo or to Dinard and having recently discovered this little gem of a hotel in Dinard , I don't think I will be going elsewhere soon. There is plenty of street parking if you so require as also a nearby open car park. The hotel is less than 10min walk from the city market, which by the way, is lovely on Saturday, as also the seaside restaurants near the casino. It's unpretentious and honest. Very quiet pretty much all the time. I would recommend more but I won't otherwise it will be full all the time...

Basic but clean and comfortable
Only spent one night here but found the hotel to be in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. Rooms basic but comfortable wjth everything you need for a short stay. Good location- around a 10minute walk from Dinard town centre.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff
The best of 4 very good hotels I stayed at in Brittany over the last few days. There was a really nice reading/tv area here, the room was basic but nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful (as I found everyone in Brittany to be). I couldn't eat the breakast as I'm gluten intolerant, but this was the case all over - France hasn't yet developed the gluten-free market as other European countries have. Overall, if I go back to Dinard (which I hope to, it's beautiful and the food is exquisite) I would stay here again.

Excellent 10 days at the St-Michel, Dinard
Dinard is still a beautiful, very unspoiled resort to visit. The hotel was great, very welcoming and helpful at all times. My wife and I would recommend without hesitation

Great location easy walk to town centre and ferry
Charming hosts welcome us and explained everything about the town and speak very good English. Delightful breakfast room. Rooms are comfortable and cozy and very quiet

Quiet and relaxing
Hotel is in a quiet street about 10 minutes from centre of town and the beaches. Room was very clean and comfortable and staff were really helpful and friendly.

Noisy rooms
Noise from adjoining rooms was very disturbing due to lack sound insulation , the room was very basic we would describe it as the shed out the back. Breakfast was buffet style but adequate for the price paid. It's location was ok not to far from the sea front , about 10 min walk, in Dinard so finding somewhere to eat at night was never a problem

At a glance, this hotel looks pretty nice due to stylish deco and cool colour scheme, etc. However, going into the room, the cracked wash basin, chipped toilet gave us not so good impression and made us wonder our choice of the hotel was right or not. However, the biggest problem became clear when the neighbouring rooms got occupied. The sound insulation was very poor and when the room above was occupied, all we could hear was their movement. Maybe they were elephants, who knows! And the worse started when the next neighbour came back to the room and used their bathroom, water and drain noise were as loud as the one in our room was used. In the night I suddenly woke up realising I could hear neighbour's snoring as well. This was just too much.

The hotel is located just a short walk from the beach/bars & restraunts. Dinard is clean, quiet at night & typically french in style.

A brilliant introduction to Brittany. A superb, comfortable hotel close to the town and very handy for the buses going out of town if you're whisking to explore the area.

Close to quaint beaches and restaurants
We booked at the last minute and were very pleased with our stay! Pierre is very welcoming and accommodating. The sitting room, dining room, terrace are all very quaint and inviting. The room was small, but comfortable (it was the last one available!). The washroom was the only deterrent as it was the size of a closet and separated the shower from the rest of the washroom by a thin shower curtain. The walls are also very thin, so the person next to us banged on the wall at around 11pm to communicate that we were too loud (we were just talking, but perhaps a bit loudly). We didn't mind the washroom and the thin walls though as we had a lovely stay.

Great location, very friendly staff / owners
Perfect location, easy walk down into the main town and promenade. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated and there is a lovely TV room. Owner and staff were very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay.

Delightful!
What a delightful hotel and charming host! the location is really convenient, just 5-10 mins walk up a slight hill from the main area of restaurants and from the beach. Free parking on the street or nearby car park. The whole place has a welcoming feel and Pierre seems always available to cater for any need. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful court yard garden having a nice cup of tea (we are English after all!) or a nightcap after a meal in one of Dinard's many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again - in fact can't wait to do so.

Cela faisait la 2ème fois que nous venions dans cet hôtel , la 1ere fois nous avons été logés dans une chambre donnant sur une petite cour (super séjour) tout était parfait . Mais cette fois ci nous avons eu une chambre au 2 -ème étage et pas du tout insonorisée , nous entendions nos voisins parler . Néanmoins l'accueil est très bon et le petit déjeuner est passable

Chambre magnifique avec vélux à télécommande. Entrée séparée par une petite cour. Déco sympa et plein de prises de courant, pratique pour charger les appareils. Machine à café avec dosettes et sachets de thé. Salle de bains au top. La jeune femme a l accueil nous a menés à notre chambre. Nuit calme et agréable. Il faudrait gratter sous la peinture pour trouver un pont négatif, et encore, pas sure de trouver. Bravo !
