Simple & basic
Slightly further out than I had expected, making it a little remote. No minibar though beer was available on room service. It's a pleasant mountain resort, great shower, excellent view from balcony and providing you've a car or driver convenient for Periyar. Possibly a little over priced compared with other properties available. Lots of step walks I would imagine anyone with any walking difficulties would struggle.

Great views of valley from Hotel
Nice hotel in Thekkady but a bit far from the town area. So if you dont want to have dinner at the hotel you must have dinner outside before returning. There are no eateries nearby. Must have transport to go any place nearby. Rooms are large with great views of the valley. But during the cold months rooms can be really cold. Slippers are not provided and tv does not really work. Wifi is very weak and most times does not work. Breakfast choice is limited but food is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nestled away from town so not much to do here. Bathrooms are also huge. Toiletries are about average. Bed is comfortable. Not cheap but it is expected since it is a resort area.

bad...better opt another one..
the main attraction was swimming pool, once i reach there and got ready for swimming i was told the pool is under maintenance for last two week !! clear cheating..i dint ge any discount..the food was average (non veg tasted as old and quantity also low) parents didnt ate and heavily over priced too.. wasted money and time..

Overall the stay was good. But while booking the deluxe villa had jacuzzi in the images. Whereas there is no bath tub or jacuzzi. Which I felt was misleading.

Decent hotel, pretty view
We definitely liked our view and enjoyed having a large balcony. The jacuzzi in the bathroom is pretty, however the shower area was clogging, which was a little annoying. Staff is friendly, and food is ok. It's about 15 minutes from the national park (try to arrange your own auto, the ones from the hotel can be overpriced)

Amazing Hotel and very polite and friendly staff. The Rooms are great and offer excellent views from the balcony/terrace. The Food is good, not too great, just about average.

Fantastic hotel, really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful view. Food in the restaurant was a little pricey, but tasted great. Pool area is stunning also.

On to the game preserve
This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who had been here a couple of years ago. I stayed 2 nights. The hotel Is pleasant though a bit worn in places. They are undergoing renovations of both rooms an facilities. My room had been upgraded and had all the amenities one might wish for. The large balcony overlooked the spice garden but trees have grown and block the view.

Excellent location & equally excellent staff
We stayed at the the Wild Corridor from 17th - 19th September 2014. The resort is located on the hills along in a C Shaped formation. There are multiple building each housing 3 rooms. Each one of the rooms has a view of the valley and the Periyar Forrest (far away). The rooms have a balcony which adds to the experience. The property has plantations of various spices and fruits and they also have a guided tour of the same. The breakfast provided was prepared & served hot. I was also told that fruits like the Papaya & Pineapple were from their own gardens. The resort is about 4/5 kms away from the centre of the town. Going to the market makes it difficult without your own vehicle. However the distance also makes it unique (away from the rest of the hotels/resorts)

We spent 2 nights here, the room was a good size with a good sized balcony.. The pool was good but a million stairs away! I recommend!

Peaceful valley view
Out stay was during the 1st week of September, towards the end of monsoon and nearing Onam - nature lovers, it is the best time and place to be, away from the crowd in a peaceful green valley with the numerous birds to our company. All rooms in Thekkady Wild Corridor have a balcony opening to the valley, the top most one we stayed (3 series ones) have the best valley view and privacy. Room and bathroom were equipped and generally clean. Rooms did not have air conditioners and do not require it too, they were surprisingly cooler than outside. People who enjoy bathtub will have a treat, the huge window(with curtain) next to it opens to the valley. The only downside with the accommodation was cleanliness. We found cockroaches near the bathtub window behind the curtain - this did not let us enjoy the bathtub experience. There were issues with 24 hours hot water availability too. Overall, good place to visit and stay. Places nearby 1. Periyar tiger reserve 2. Idduki and Cheruthoni dams (around 50KMs): Both dams are open to visitors on the dam during Onam, other seasons, you can see the dam from a distance. 3. Mullaperiyar Dam (around 30KMs) 4. Munnar - hill station (around 85KMs) 5. Alleppey - backwater (around 150KMs) : Try the overnight stay in a houseboat

Hotel guys do not cooperate
I did not stay as I booked the hotel on Sept. 15, '14 instead of Oct. 15, '14. It was difficult to get my money back. Hotel sales people do not have sense of customer loyalty. They could have given me the room with the same price but instead of that they wanted to grab my money. I had hard time convincing them through hotels.com

Good to stay type of hotel

Ideal Location
The Resort is located 5 to 6 kms away from the town circle and on top of a hill. its a perfect location, where in, you can enjoy the nature. the sunrise and sunsets are awesome. they have there own spice plantation, so you dont have to go outside for a tour. the staff were courteous and in couple of occasions, were able to provide customised food for my daugther as she wasnt keeping well. Over all a good place to spend with Family and friends

Nice within forest woods nice ambience
Children had good time in bath tub, very informative different trees are marked with their names. Most of the cultivation of spices and shrubs available in wild corridor. Sunrise morning tea in balcony with forest surrounded gives pleasant feelings.

Great view and service
The hotel is at a beautiful location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The one thing the hotel should try and improve is the quality of food in the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel nestled in a picturesque mountain setting. The design and location of the hotel make you feel like you are in a secluded mountain resort while still being a short, 10 minute rickshaw ride from Cumily. The rooms were very cozy. Loved the "hand towel elephant" on our bed when we checked-in. Pool was fantastic. The staff were very friendly but not terribly helpful with booking activities prior to arriving at the hotel. Via email they indicated a number of activities were booked (elephant ride, safari) but they weren't. Didn't end up affecting anything, but noteworthy.

Beautiful Location
Absolutely beautiful location and the deluxe rooms all have stunning views over the jungle. When we stayed (Nov 12) there were building works which woke us up early and disturbed us during the day. However the staff remedied this for us by putting us in the honeymoon villa which was blissfully quiet. Building works should be done by Dec 12 though so would definitely recommend going after then.

Beautiful Thekkady Wild Corridor
the location of the resort is fantastic and getting the view of the greens right from your room is a unique experience. by night fall you can ear the nice sounds of the forests and you feel like you are in the laps of nature. A very soothing and rejuvenating place to be. One shud stay longer and breathe in the nature at its best. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the bathroom with a view is fantastic. fantastic is wat i call this place. however need to improve Vegetarian food

Explore the wild life park.
The hotel was situated in a quite nature strip which was terrific and the hotel had a good size pool. The food at the hote was avearge and would recommend guests to explore food outside. Te hotel is about 2-3 kms away from the Perriyar Nature Reserve.

De 4 km til hektiske Kumily giver Thekkady Wild Corridor roen og freden til at man kan nyde den fantastiske udsigt over bjergskråningerne. Service og mad er i top. Vi var heldige at opleve den store årlige tempelfestival i landsbyen Murrukady, hvor hotellet ligger - meget betagende at tage del i, selv om musikken startede tidligt om morgenen og først sluttede sent om aftenen i de to dage hvor det stod på :-)
