Only 1 negative.

Posted 06-Jul-2014
The only negative is the fact that the hotel makes you rent a key for the room safe. I have been to many hotels 3-5 star and have never encountered that, but in saying that the hotel is actually amazing, breakfast buffet is scrumptious. Pool and bar is gorgeous even at night with the lighting. It is close to everything you need in Ibiza. I will definitely be returning.

Nice hotel on the Beach

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Our stay at hotel Garbi was perfect . The staff were pleasant . The restaurant and food was excellent . The room was basic , pleasant and clean . The hotel is on the beach , when you want the shops and bars they are straight outside . We are 0 panning to visit again next year .

Very good place for a late summer week away

Posted 22-Oct-2011
Location: Ibiza Town has everything!
Good location - 10 minute , 1.5 Euro bus trip from Ibiza Town - serving excellent, plentiful breakfasts that meant no need to even think about bothering with lunch. Hotel was spotlessly clean. This was the end of season, and a fair number of local bars and restaurants had already shut down, but that didn't detract from what was a very good place to stay for a relaxing week away.

Convenient and relaxing place to stay

Posted 17-Oct-2011 on Hotels.com
Overall a pretty great experience. Spa, beach, bar, and clubs right in the hotel. Lots of bars open till late right along the same road, making midnight grocery or food runs extremely convenient. Lots of great garlic bread and paella at said bars, as well. A few touristy shops too, but nothing you can really complain about. Fantastic ice cream place next door, the owner has two dogs that are really cute. The hotel has a print service if you need to print stuff, and free wireless around grounds (super convenient). Although they don't all look particularly friendly, hotel staff has been helpful and they attended to all our needs. The only knock is that the beds are two twins instead of a proper queen/king size bed. What's up with that? Even a full size (double size) would be better - it's rather uncomfy for a romantic two person stay, if you know what I mean...

Poor value for cost

Posted 01-Sep-2011 on Hotels.com
Incredibly overpriced, but then again everything in Ibiza is. Location is ideal if you're going there to party, the spa is the only reason I stayed the full duration without cancelling. Staff is unfriendly, unaccomodating, and generally quite useless. Simple requests were never met. Rooms are very small and uncomfortable, mine had no working A/C until day 3. Not recommended.

Garbi? Garbage.

Posted 16-Sep-2010
Hotel Garbi? More like Hotel Garbage. For the money that this hotel charges even for a standard room you expect decent customer service and helpful staff. When we requested extra towels and new water glasses we were told that if we wanted them we could come down to reception and get them ourselves. I'm sorry, I thought we were staying at a 4 star hotel? If the rude service isn't enough to make you want to jump over the counter and slap the obnoxious mustached man across the face, the fact that they charge you for EVERYTHING should help push you over the edge. 3.50 Euro a day to use the safe after a 15 Euro deposit, and 20 Euro deposit to use beach towels. The only saving grace of this place was the omelet man in the breakfast buffet, but word to the wise, don't try and bring food out. Apparently taking an orange and some dried fruit is a health hazard and is enough of a violation to send the dining room manager into a tizzy. Bottom line-find somewhere else to spend your money.
