“Very good place for a late summer week away”
Good location - 10 minute , 1.5 Euro bus trip from Ibiza Town - serving excellent, plentiful breakfasts that meant no need to even think about bothering with lunch. Hotel was spotlessly clean. This was the end of season, and a fair number of local bars and restaurants had already shut down, but that didn't detract from what was a very good place to stay for a relaxing week away.
“nice hotel, bad location”
Clean rooms, new rooms, so-so breakfast, nice pool but bad location. far from ibiza town which sucks especially in a place in ibiza were catching a cab is a real pain.
“Garbi? Garbage.”
Hotel Garbi? More like Hotel Garbage. For the money that this hotel charges even for a standard room you expect decent customer service and helpful staff. When we requested extra towels and new water glasses we were told that if we wanted them we could come down to reception and get them ourselves. I'm sorry, I thought we were staying at a 4 star hotel? If the rude service isn't enough to make you want to jump over the counter and slap the obnoxious mustached man across the face, the fact that they charge you for EVERYTHING should help push you over the edge. 3.50 Euro a day to use the safe after a 15 Euro deposit, and 20 Euro deposit to use beach towels. The only saving grace of this place was the omelet man in the breakfast buffet, but word to the wise, don't try and bring food out. Apparently taking an orange and some dried fruit is a health hazard and is enough of a violation to send the dining room manager into a tizzy. Bottom line-find somewhere else to spend your money.
“Contemporary, Modern Hotel”
Front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful! Location was walking distance to Bora Bora (a daytime beach club) and Space (a late night discotech). By taxi, some of the other hottest clubs are 15 minutes away (about $20 total). The pool area was really clean and peaceful. If you want to get a pool chair, you'll have to get out to the pool pretty early. I would definitely stay here again.
“soid hotel”
very nice hotel great location
“More like a 3 star quality hotel but good value for the price”
Exactly as others say, this hotel looks more like a very solid 3 star and very close to 4. What I really didn't like about the hotel is they don't have a doorbell and needed to bring all my luggages to my room for myself. Also bring them in took my a long walk from the taxi and them from the lobby. Everything else was good and very acceptable for the price paid.
“Not really 4-star quality but good value”
This hotel is convenient for a variety of reasons: - close to the airport, 10 minute taxi ride (about 11-12 euros) - there is a bus stop next to hotel lobby which drops you in center of Ibiza town (1.45 euro) - right on the beach - has own outdoor pool/jacuzzi (only warm enough to go in during summer, not heated) - own indoor spa (free for guests) with sauna, jacuzzi, fitness center - quite nice! - breakfast included; although not impressive, it's sufficient and pretty wide variety of foods However, I would not consider it a 4-star hotel in comparison with other 4-star hotels I've stayed in. Everything is 'sufficient' but not really 4-star level...more of a solid 3-star. The room I had was quite spacious but the bed and blankets weren't the most comfortable. I think all the rooms have nice big balconies though and it seems most are situated to have at least a partial view of the ocean. The decor of the hotel maintains a consistent theme of dark purple and neon green. It's really everywhere from the color of the columns in the lobby to the napkins in the restaurant. A very 'clubby' atmosphere with the colors and the general decor. The surrounding area is mostly pizza restaurants and some gambling clubs and bars and tacky tourist shops selling beach towels and kitsch. Not very lively or charming. All in all I probably wouldn't stay here again but for this trip it fit my budget. Also since I didn't know where to stay, the location was convenient enough.
“NIce beach and Pool in Ibiza”
It was a nice hotel in a good location. In the center of the parties and beautiful people. Also great pool and right off the beach. The service was mediocre and so was the breakfast but the rooms are clean and modern.
“very nice hotel for ibiza stay”
Great stay at Garbi while visiting and experiencing Ibiza. The buffet style meals were pretty good, lots of variety and while not the best food there were enough choices to make the dinners and if we could get to it) breakfast filling and satisfying. Rooms weren't the biggest but bigger than most in Ibiza and San Antonio that I've seen, A/C worked with no problems. The location is sensational, close to the beach, buses, taxis, smaller bars and of course Space. We never got around to using the tennis court but it looked great, the spa is nice as is the little workout area. Highly recommend staying here for your Ibiza adventures.
“Best hotel in Playa den Bossa”
Nice hotel on a nice beach. Trendy hotel restaurant on the beach, great setting, with gracious staff. Thanks, Toni! Our only complaints were that the shower curtain kept blowing into you while you showered, annoying, and some of the front desk could have been a little more helpul and friendly. But would stay there again.
