"Nice hotel, but wouldn't go back"
We stayed for 8 days, returning 7 Oct. We had a great, relaxing holiday, with plenty of sun, which is just what we needed. We are beach people, and unfortunately I have some mobility issues, so it was not ideal that access to the beach was very steep. Rental of sunbeds / brollies on the beach (5 euro each) was quite steep also (though nothing to do with the hotel). There is definitely a nudist beach alongside the hotel (in a little sandy bay along the water's edge) which was quite eye-opening to say the least, didn't bother us, but obviously did bother others. Several bathers did wander down on to the non-nudist beach each day, or splash around with the sea up to their knees (for some reason!). There was some debate in the reviews as to whether the nudist beach was there at all, we must surmise that it is an intermittent thing.
We found all of the staff to be great, especially the cleaners. We were half board (not big drinkers, so AI not for us) and the food was good, we like to eat late (8:30/9:00 ish) and found that some things had run out, but there was still always plenty of choice. We were on the third floor, overlooking the kids pool (with a nice, side-view of the sea) but never got the sun on our balcony at all (meaning that beach towels / clothes never dried),
All in all, we had a great, much-needed break, in a friendly, clean hotel, but the steep incline down to the beach will ensure that we do not go back - shame.
