Upon arrival to property, there was no lighting in the parking area. When I went inside, there is no one to be seen after about a 10 minute wait someone appeared from behind closed doors. Upon entering the front doors. I noticed a smell, the smell of mustiness and stale odor. I told the person behind the counter that I had made a reservation with Expedia. She says "I don't know why that went through because we are not taking reservations through Expedia." She then proceeded to tell me that she did not have the king room that I had reserved. She said the building and hotel was under renovation and that they had limited rooms available. She showed me a room with two queen beds, unlike the one room that I had reserved. The room had broken, trim, work, unmatched, bedding in a nonworking fridge and broken furniture. It was in complete shambles on top of that. It smelled horrible! No one in the right mind would stay there feeling safe and comfortable. I told the front desk lady that I absolutely could not stay here. She told me that I would have to cancel my reservation through Expedia and hopefully get refunded. Of course, I have not heard back from Expedia with my poor experience for a full refund. I am highly disappointed in not only the days in in Hutchinson, Minnesota, but also in Expedia, in their lack of response to this review, and my inquiry of such poor business relations. I am reluctant to go through Expedia ever again. They should be on top of properties like this.

We live close. We just wanted to have a night out and let our boy swim. Pool was closed. It smelled funny and the beds ARE TERRIBLE! And to top if off they still owe me $97 dont go here!!!!

The place is a outdated dump. I was highly disappointed. After my event I grabbed my bag and drove 2 hours back home. I never stayed. The carpet looked gross and the room smelled.

Dirty and damaged bathroom. Discolored and worn toilet seat. Discolored caulk around tub, crumbling trim around bathroom door, holes in walls from moving furniture and left unfilled. Super outdated. The sheets were clean however… Not my favorite stay.

Room smelled very musty, stains on the sheets, had no hot water. Front desk staff were rude! As soon as you walk in it smells like weed and cigarettes. Pool was locked and when asked staff about it they said they are keeping it locked because it’s not being used..seems a little sketchy to me. The roof was leaking. Very dirty when you walked in the carpet you socks were black. Felt very unsafe.

The property in general is clean. However it is tired and dated. Front desk had very few words to say. Tv did not work. The phone was a “shell” of itself with missing buttons and obviously no longer worked. Free breakfast was good and plentiful. If you just need a place to sleep and clean up it will do.

We will be back
We stayed at the Days Inn at Hutchinson and had a perfectly fine stay. The hotel is a bit dated, but the stay was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our temperature control the first night and reported it and it was taken care of by the time we returned to our room it was fixed. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but definitely worked for what we needed. We have stayed before and will be back.

We booked multiple rooms in order to attend a funeral. Upon seeing the property, I could not allow family to stay there as it was dirty and unsafe. Requested a refund and the management would not answer Expedia’s calls.

Avoid this hotel
The room smelled like mold and rotten fish, there were food stains on the bed, and the bathroom was dirty. There is not a single window in the room as well. I checked in, then left an hour later. The smell was unbearable to stay longer. Front desk staff was rude to everyone. It was a busy weekend, since there were four weddings, but that shouldn’t be an excuse to be rude to respectful guests. This will be the last time staying at this hotel and the last time using hotels.com.

unique furniture in the lobby and hallway downstairs. continental breakfast was good. pool was closed, and for a while as I understand while still advertising on the website. Looks like they are tring to update the rooms, bug spray or something all along the baseboards of the floors in two rooms, curtains facing the conference room were all yellowed and gross. mold in the caulk of the tubs. Average for the price we paid. I was disappointed.

Found previous ppl hair in the tub/ shower. Room stinks and gross. Ac filter needed to change. Make sure you buy rubber sandals when showering. Didn't get a to-go breakfast bc night shift staff said breakfast starts at 6a. I have to be at work by 6a. They do have a display of apple/ oranges. Don't eat the fruits that is displayed. The smell of grossness is embedded in the fruit. But if certain ppl can't smell.. maybe the fruit will taste fine. Overall.. never again..

Enjoyable, quiet place to stay.
They had computer issues and I was disgusted for reservation and then I was given a room after it was fixed. I reserved two rooms and was billed prior to even checking in so instead of the second room paying themselves. I got bill for both.
