“Just like home.”

The hotel was wonderful. AFter spending all day playing at a soccer tournament, it was very refreshing to come to a place that was like your home. I would definately stay there again.

“Highly recommend”

The staff was about the friedliest & most helpful I've ever encountered. The property was well maintained & is in a safe area. If you are staying in Decatur, this is the place to go.

The hotel staff were great, the room was clean and well stocked, and they had a great selection of breakfast foods. This hotel goes above and beyond to make sure their guest have a pleasant stay!

“Excellent Hotel at Great Price!”

First of all, I was very impressed with this hotel! The decor was elegant and sophisticated. The complimentary hot breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed the make-your-own Belgain waffles, hot biscuits & sausage gravy, bagels with cream cheese, muffins, coffee cake, toast, cereals, etc. The front desk staff was EXTREMELY friendly and courteous. The only mishaps that we have to report is: (1.) the cleaning staff did not clean our room, even though we placed the provided green "clean this room now" tag on the door handle; (2.) when we went to get clean towels from the front desk because of the cleaning staff's "no show," we were told that they were out of big towels and had to make do with hand towels; and (3.) around 9 a.m. Sunday morning, the fire alarm went off, but this, I'm sure, was out of the hotel's control if someone was being malicious and pulled it. My biggest regret with our stay is that I didn't get a chance to swim in the outdoor pool, as it was storming in the evenings. Maybe next time!

“just what we expected.”

This is our second time at the Jameson, and it was perfect again. simple check-in, thick mattresses, and friendly service. Breakfast bar the next morning was fully stocked and very clean with nice selection of items including b&g and waffles. We saw the pool and fitness room, but didn't use them.

“Good stay in Decatur”

Excellent value for money. Excellent beds, better than ones in much more expensive hotels. Location turned out to be a little further out of the way as a base for our business in Madison and Calhoun Community College than we anticipaqted, but not too bad. Plus were there is plenty of restrurants and services very close.

“Great hotel for the price”

This had to be one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The room was very nice, clean and comfy. AC worked well, nice bed linens although a blanket would have been nice. The TV was a little old and screen needed adjusting. Free internet with easy access

“Hotel has 4-star heart”

We could have stayed in a hotel closer to my business in Huntsville, but chose to stay at this location based on the other review comments. They were spot-on! Simply said, this hotel, although an older property location, was as impressive as any 3 star establishment, and even some 4-star locations. Starting with the initial view-- very clean with "fresh painted" look in the walk ways and doors--not recently painted though, just frequently pressure washed--no cobwebs or bugs were found anywhere, not even common areas like outside stair wells and vending machine areas. Rooms were clean and didn't smell musty and no grout stains. In fact, baths had granite counters, ceramic tile floors, hot tubs, refrigerators, etc. The breakfast area was very clean, but only offered the typical cerial, Belgium waffles, fruits, etc., no made-to-order items (but this was not expected based on advertising or price). The management and staff were very courtious and helpful, going beyond the basic expectations. The way they handled my arrival and questions made me feel like they felt they were concierges working in one of those high priced hotels that start with an H! I'll just say that of similar priced and sized properties I've stayed at in my 40+ years, this was the best! In fact, I've never spent any time writing a review, but was so impressed by this location that I felt they deserved my time on a review.

“Good and cheap”

This is a value for money hotel on the beltline near many eating places. The location seems safer than most as it is next to an area where I saw police crusiers. One can walk to eating places.
