“Nice, Comfortable Hotel”

I stay at this hotel every time I go to Hudson. The service is always good and the room is always comfortable. Their breakfast buffet is great

“Good concert hotel”

Great place to stay when going to Blossom to see a concert. Blossom is just 5-10 minutes down the road. Easy drive there and back.

“our visit”

The room we had was clean as we expected it to be. But the door to the bathroom didn't lock. Also, the room was listed as having a refrigerator but did not have one. The breakfast was great, served buffet style, hot and delicious in a nice dining room environment. I would stay in this hotel again if in the Akron area.

“Great deal for average travellers”

We stayed here because there was a free hot breakfast buffet, it was within 30 minutes of Cleveland, and it had a pool. We also had a refrigerator and microwave in our room. The heat was easy use when we needed it, we had wonderful fluffy pillows and the shower was hot every time. This is a great place to stay if you aren't expecting perfection. Yes, the door to the bathroom had some wear and tear and I think I saw a small spiderweb, but overall it was really good for the money.

“Ok, but not great...”

Depending on why you want to stay there, the location could be great. It is conveniently located near Cuyahoga National Park. It was an easy, pleasant 10 minute drive there on a few country roads. We also went to a concert at Blossom Music Center, and driving there was a snap, and took only about 15 minutes. While the room itself was ok, it wasn't great. There was a couch and nice desk chair that we liked, and the room was a decent size. But it was clearly getting a little long in the tooth and could use a freshening up. Things like plaster used to fill holes in the wall paper, and a window that lead to a courtyard (with a nice view of a leaning ladder) must not have been completely closed because there was an ant crawling inside. The fridge worked well and the lobby and pool were nice enough and clean. We had no complaints for the price, really, but will probably take our chances somewhere else when we return to the area.

“Convenient location, needs renovation”

This property is showing its age. It's in a good spot, right on the highway, but there is nothing nearby in terms of shopping, restaurants or even gas stations. It's a big old convention-style hotel that is largely unoccupied. The beautiful hot tub from the picture was out of service the night we were there over the holidays, despite the staff having said it was operational when I called the week before. The room we were in (the second we were assigned, after we complained about the smoky smell) was clearly past its prime. Water spots and rust in the bathroom, an HVAC unit that was a little quirky. And it was freezing in the hallways. The staff were tremendously helpful and not very busy because the place was so empty.

“hudson”

the have an awesome pool and sauna area. The rooms are in remodel and some are really in need of repair redo. Sure it will be nice when they are finished. They do have a nice restaurant and bar area.
