“Can't wait to go back”

Great hotel for the price. They have AC, I went on may, and the weather was extremelly hot. Huatulco is beautiful everything is close, for us it was great for the price. Everything is very cheap to travel, eat and so on...

“Great Deal "Can't wait to go back"”

The hotel staff where very helpfull and honest. Our stay included breakfast Buffet which was a great deal. The beach club was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel, where they served food and drinks to all. Really not any independent merchants selling merchandice like other towns. The hotels in this area DO NOT have elevators, so if you have trobles with stairs I recomend requesting a lower floor. I recomend taking a boat trip to visit the other bays, its a must see! Another town to visit is Puerto Escandido about 2 hour bus ride from the Huatulco area.

Area recommendations
Santa Cruz is where we stayed, no big resorts in this area of Huatulco. Thats to our preferance. Walking distance from la Crusecita Centro, this is the town square. Resturants,internet,shopping,entertainment, and ADO bus line. No more than $2 cab ride each way.

“Very good hotel, breakfast included, good mexica breakast”

I have only 2 problem with this hotel, other wise very nice place to stay. On the day we arived we got a room with a very big balcony, I asked that night if we could get a couple of chair and table to have on it. And was told they would get on it. The next moring I remedid the front desk about the chair and was told it was not possible to have any chairs. I was told the hotel did not have any more. I asked how it was possible to have a balcony without any chairs. Nobody ever follow up for chair for us. Very terrible of the hotel. The other is don't use the landry at the hotel as it cost alot, you can drop of landry in the town and it cost 1/4 what it cost to have it done at the hotel.

“Huatulco Hotel Marina Resort”

No other words then to say it was the worst hotel I have ever been too. From Internet not working anywhere but the lobby. Low grade towels and aminities. No elevators and American Express is not taken or do not want to take it. The push was for cash over credit cards. The view is wonderful and adjacent to the Marina but worst Customer Service I have ever experience. Being from the Hospitality Industry I am quite disapointed. I did not expect to be treated as royalty but common courtesy and assistant was not provided.

“Authentic and charming, a real taste of old Mexico.”

We found the Marina to be exactly what we wanted. Located in the marina, it was convenient to tours and beaches, with a truly charming little town just minutes away. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff throughout were helpful and courteous. We didn't want to stay in a mega hotel with hundreds of rooms, the Marina was smaller, but didn't lack in views, pools and gardens. We would go back and recommend it to someone who wants the true Mexican experience.

Area recommendations
The town of La Crucieta (sp?) was charming and offered many excellent restaurnats and lots of shops with interesting arts and crafts. Especially inviting at nite in the Plaza.

“COMODIDAD DEL HOTEL”

EL AGUA DE LA ALBERCA ESTA DEMASIADO FRIA ESPECIALMENTE SI SE VIAJA CON NIÑOS PEQUEÑOS, POR LO DEMAS LA ESTANCIA FUE MUY SATISFACTORIA.

“Muy Buen Hotel.”

El servicio es muy hogareño y bueno, las instalaciones esta muy completas, albercas limpias, comida rica. El club de playa esta limpio y el acceso a el es facil, a pesar de tener que caminar un poco. En total TODO Huatulco es muy buen destino.

“Bad Service and attitude”

Hotel desk staff have a very bad attitude and completely lack any attention to service. when we confornted management about service, we heard mostly "excuses".... hotel is nice for the money. Was really, really disappointed overall. Can't imagine the level of problems had the hotel been busy.
