“Camino Real Zaashila”

Stay was nice, breathtaking location and Neighborhood. Downturns: Intransparent minibar policy (We were forced to pay for items we did not consume) Inadequate behaviour of middle management to solve the issue (Am busy, have to take my breakfast,.) The hotel has high ambitions but can not cope due to inadequate service staff behaviour.

“pleasantly surprised @prompted relaxation”

The folks were extremely helpful frrm registration to departure. The hotel needs to provide more on site guest functions such as evening dancing at teh beautiful lounge/restaurant locations. Beautiful surroundings, a very safe environment, and proximity made for a great time. So many notable servers work so hard at amking a guest's stay very welcome, and always courteous. The room a/c unit was bit noisy, but how can one complain seeing the great view from the balcony!

Area recommendations
check out a couple neighboring hotels, visit the towns of LaCrucecita, and Santa Cruz. Lots of sights, great resturants, wonderful people, and if possible check out the "textile factory" Shops are very reasonable, and folks don't "push you into a buying freenzy"...cordial, sincere atmosphere in the churches evidenced a healthy spirtual following. Cab drivers were outstanding,a nd very fair not to gouge American passnegers. Good food, relaxation abounding, and the real sense of providing travelers a good time is all we felt. Good retstaurants in walking distance as well!

“I left my corazon in Oaxaca.”

As a knitter I love looking for fiber. Oaxaca is loaded with artesans who share their expertise in dyeing wool, weaving, and designing textiles. I would love to take a knitting group there and spend more time with artesans in the local villages.

“Camino Real -- Want to go back!”

Everything was great. We arrived really early because that is when the bus got in, and they did their best to get our room cleaned for us right away so we could get in and relax. Beach is beautiful and pretty private. Food at the beach club was yummy. Our favorite were the happy hour mojitos at one of the bars. The best we've ever had. The room was clean, comfortable, great view of the beach and perfect for relaxation. Water drainage in the bathroom was a problem -- but it is in most hotels in Mexico. But that was all. Would go back in a second.

Area recommendations
Santa Cruz and Crucecita are both cute little villages to visit with lots of restaurants, shopping. Santa Cruz is nice because it is right on the ocean. I liked the church at la Crucecita a lot too. There is also a few little plazas you can walk to by the Tangolunda hotels that have great places to eat that are a little more economical than the hotel food.

“A small paradaise with a town in the pacific”

This is a beautiful hotel with very good service. We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was very good quality, with fresh and good shape frut. Ingredientes of the meal was very good quality. All the facilities of the hotel were in excelent condition, and maintained. The site was a nice paradaise. Two things I was not satisfied with were: Thee matress and linen were very clean, but not the quality we expected. Although it is a 3.5 Star Hotel. We had to pay for water left in bottles in the bathroom. Besides that I was very satisfied with the hotel in general. I highly recomend it. Very gogo price for what we got.

Area recommendations
try to visit most of the beaches of the 7 Bays of Huatulco. Do not forget have lunch or dinner in downtown specially Fridays or Saturdays. You will enjoy it
Dining
Have lunch or dinner In downtown, and do not forget to save some room for an ice cream in the corner of the plaza. Try "Tacos al Pastor" at night also in one of the locations of the plaza where they only sell Tacos.

“Very good.”

Overall, a good hotel and accomodations. We stayed at a one bedroom suite. We loved everything about it, especially the personal pool.

Area recommendations
Go downtown to La Crucecita to get a taste of the local scene. You can get souvenirs and food at better prices than the hotel zone. Its only a short taxi ride away. Also, I would highly recommend a restaurant by the docking area of Bahía Santa Cruz, called Doña Celia, a great place to drink in the flavor of a local favorite, a simple restaurant which serves the freshest seafood at great prices. Had some of the best lobster of our lives!
Getting around
Take taxis. They are not expensive and that way you don´t lose precious vacation time waiting for buses. Ask how much the rate is to your destination, before getting in the cab.

“Right on the beach with great pool.”

The rooms are huge. Since there weren't many guest we got a room almost directly at the ocean. The rooms are huge and the balconies very nice. Some rooms even have little pool (small sized but with few of the ocean).

Area recommendations
There is a number of great beaches in Huatulco that need to be explored. There is also an exciting ATV tour through the National Park. I also saw White water rafting offers and other fun activities.
