“A "great " little hotel”
I've booked an other hotel in the Huatulco downtown but when my friend and I we've arrived the hotel did not correspond at all to what is advertised on the website and magazines and reviewed by others travellers. Despite having paid the first night we left it immediately. We remembered the Best Western that was not in the center but not far, and relying on quality of the hotel chain we booked. When we arrived we heaved a sigh of relief. Not a large hotel but it is very nice, the rooms are big, super comfortable, clean, modern furnished with two double beds, air-conditioned quiet, LCD televisions with satellite channels, safe, minibar and 2 bottles of water free every day. The staff at reception is very kind and always available to provide information. Chaue beach is only 5 minutes on foot but in the water is not recommended to swim for strong waves and the whirlpools. The center of Huatulco can be reached on foot in 15 minutes or you can take a taxi and pay 20 pesos. Other beaches can be reached by taxi paying 40 to 54 pesos depending on distance. I do not recommend to include a continental breakfast consisting of coffee or tea, orange juice and two slices of toast and jam, and for the price and the quality. In the room there is also a coffee maker with coffee and a bag of chamomile. The hotel also has a very good vegetarian restaurant with reasonable prices. In front of the hotel there's also a big supermarket where you can buy pastries,fruits and juices .
“Nice Modest Hotel”
This is a very nice modest hotel with a friendly staff.Relatively close to the beach and near the only supermarket in town.
“Cleanest and next to Beach and Supermarket!”
This Hotel was a bang for the buck! absolutely enjoyed the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Location was perfect. 3 min. from beach, supermarket across the street, VEGETARIAN restaurant in the hotel.

All was OK, except the the receptionist head (Antonio) whose treatment was distant and incorrect.
“Best Western Posada Chahue Huatulco”
This is not a luxury hotel, but is very clean and well-maintained. Excellent restaurant and one of the only vegetarian restarurants in Huatulco. The chef has a green garden behind the restaurant for fresh produce. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so we got our exercise. This hotel is a short cab ride (20 pesos) to just about anywhere. We enjoyed our stay and the staff is friendly and helpful.
“Surpasses it's value”
I always read reviews before booking a hotel, so it was hard for me to choose this one since it didn't have any reviews. I am so thankful that I called Expedia, I didn't want anything expensive but it had to be nice, clean and most of all walking distance from somewhere (I need to see and enjoy the town). The staff was great and I mean really great, helpful, prompt and willing to make our stay a pleasant one. If all you need is a affordable, clean and safe hotel then I fully recomend this one it truly surpassed my expectations (I'm very picky). Not a luxury htl, but a lot better than some highly priced htls!!!!!!!
