Great value hotel
Nice hotel. Friendly with good clean rooms.The breakast was quite good and the location is great.2minutes to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Also a good selection of restauants nearby and a great coffe shop roundthe corner. I loved it and would definatley go back.

This hotel was just great. Staff were so very helpful spoke good English which did help st times. Alwsys courteous couldnt do enough. Great location close to beach family mart restaurants and shopping centres . Would definitely stay here again. breakfast was fab with good choice.

Close to Market Village mall only 3 minutes walk. 1 minute to the beach. Airconditioning in room 1305 needs new fluid as not cold enough. Staff very friendly and helpful.

A very short walk to the beach. Close to Market Village mall and other 24x7 convenience shops. Relatively easy access from airport even by public transport.

2nd stay in three years
I returned here for several reasons including low price, central location to my needs, friendly staff, good size room with balcony and simple but adequate buffet breakfast for $200 baht ($6.25 US). My only criticism would be the instant coffee. I'm pretty sure when I was here my last visit, March, there was real ground coffee. This being low-season, perhaps it's too slow to brew a large amount. I understand this but I still loath instant coffee. Other than that the food was fresh and delicious; especially the fried potatoes with saute'd onions and the green curry with chicken; delicious. Lunch & dinner are offered here also. The chef does a really nice job. The hotel is on the small side with limited rooms which I like. I requested a room on the highest floor (6) and I received it. My room was very quiet in the evening for sleeping; It was only randomly noisy in the day with families with young children, coming in going: not a problem. The hotel is a short 10 min walk to Market Village (Mall) which is an amazing mall you should check out. The first floor has massive "street food" type stalls at "street food" prices. Eat a lot for very little baht. The top floor has a Cinema with the biggest games area for children I have ever seen. The night marked, open every night except Tuesday, is a short 15 min walk; use the bridge crossovers; crossing the road is extremely dangerous here. The beach is a five minute walk. Its beautiful and very long. It also has sand fleas. Wash off.

Nice hotel
We stayed in hotel for about 27 nights( August- September), and it was so amazing time :) stuff was very helpful and smiling :) room was very clean and nice, sometimes an air conditioner changed temperature but it’s nothing to care about :) breakfast was nice but not so much and different like it was in a high season(we was at that hotel in other months and breakfast was very rich and have a lot of meals) and sometimes potatoes was not good boiled )))) But we love that hotels and we will come back 100%

The Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach, in a nice quiet location with all the amenities you would need. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful.We would definitely stay here again!

A pool with no water.
I booked this hotel for a few reasons, mainly location to beach an swimming pool. Well what a let down, the swimming pool had no water, no notice when I booked on site, they were doing maintenance, it needed serious work. They had a free bus to use a pool at there other main hotel, not good enough,I asked for them to book us there, after charging additional cost, a courtesy bus to hotel, very nice of them. Better location, pool had water... yahoo, but no shade around pool. I know it was low season but come on a little smile and friendliness would have helped. Breakfast ok. We ended up swimming in the Marriott pool most of the time, good to have friends staying there.

Nice place need to stay here
Very nice location to the beach. Hotel is nice clean COLD a/c, and nice shower , lobby was nice also. Many small restaurants on this small street or 10-15 min walk to larger major restaurants.

This guesthouse is just average. Rooms are old and well worn, just as you expect from a guest house. Breakfast was not included but I did check it out, well below average.Don't pay extra. This place was quiet though, just outside the main area. Good position I say.

The hotel was a little old but very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a great price for being basically right on the beach. It is located in a cute little side street full of other hotels and quiet little restaurants. It's conveniently close to the mall (Market Village) as well.

Songkran Delight
Spent the Songkran Festival time (April) in this hotel. Very pleased with the location. There are two Thipurai Hotels in the street 50m apart so your tuk-tuk driver may not find yours at the first time. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach where there is a cute restaurant renting sunbeds as well; and also a short walk from the busy Village Market Mall. Since it was the time of the Thai New Year, I was a bit worried about the party noise coming through the windows, but the hotel is located far enough from the noisy bars and malls still close enough to walk there to enjoy a meal or drink. Buffet breakfast is nice, the usual western style meals with a few local foods. Nothing special, but effective to start your morning quick and without looking for a place to eat. Minivan services are approximately 150m away at the main street. Scooter rental in the street 50m from the hotel. Traditional massages at the hotel entrance and in the street with reasonable price. Be aware that the swimming pool is not located at the premises, it seems that the hotels of the street share one common pool, 1 minute walk away from the hotel. The pool is pleasant for a quick drip to chill, not really suitable for avid swimmers. I had a pleasant stay here, staff is nice and accommodating. Can recommend to anyone.

Very nice place
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was a very pleasant 3 day stay. You must enjoy their great buffet breakfast for only 200 baht. Many small stores and taxis all around. Near enough to walk to beach, just don't walk down soi 6 unless you like being harassed by aggressive ladyboys. Pattaya is not really my kind of town, I found Hua Hin to be a much better beach resort town.

Great for early morning train/bus arrivals!
My daughter and I stumbled on the Thipurai by accident. We planned to take a sleeper train to Hua Hin but ended up on a 12-hour bus ride instead, which landed us in Hua Hin at 2:30am. I picked the Thipurai because it was close enough to walk to from the train station, as I was not confident there would be tuk-tuks or songtaeows at that time of night (and sure enough there weren't). The price was right and the reviews were good. Overall, I was very happy with my choice. The hotel is awesomely located on a quaint little interior street (which can only be accessed via an alley, making it private and quiet) full of other hotels, massage services, restaurants, etc. It is literally a one minute walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean and I have to say, I thought the beds were SUPER comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Thailand, as it was buffet style offering many fruits, egg styles, meats, toasts, fried rices, and juices for 200 bhat/pp. The staff were eager to help and while there was some confusion at our 3:00am arrival, we got it sorted quickly. We ended up coming back after staying two nights in another, more out of town hotel, because the Thipurai was so centrally located and comfortable and well priced. It's just a fabulous value!
