“Very beautiful & comfortable”

The resort design both exteria & interia is very neat & nice. The swimming pool is clean & perfect.

There is a seafood restaurant nearby but almost crowded at weekend.

“Ruhige Oase, an ruhigem Strand - ideales Kinderareal”

Das Springfield@Sea liegt an einem ruhigen Strandabschnitt südlich von Cha Am - allerdings dadurch auch etwas abseits von irgendwelchem Touristenrummel. In der Nähe sind ein paar wenige Restaurants - nach 15-20 Min. zu Fuss gibt es allerdings weitere Hotels, Restaurants, Shops u.ä. Der Pool im Hotel ist ausreichend gross und hat einen separaten Teil speziell für Kinder mit zwei flachen Becken, Wasserspiel und einer tollen Rutschbahn. Für kleine Kinder ein Paradies. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, vorallem mit Kindern und auch sehr bemüht einen guten Service zu erbringen. Das von uns gebuchte Familienzimmer war sehr geräumig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Einzig negativer Punkt war, dass es doch bereits seit der Hoteleröffnung in 2008 schon hier und da etwas Abnutzungserscheinungen (z.B. Duschwanne) in den Zimmern gab, aber daran haben wir uns nicht weiter gestört.

Getting around
Das das Hotel etwas abgelegen liegt und nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind, wäre ein Mietwagen o.ä. sinnvoll - allerdings kann man sich auch mit dem Pagenservice arrangieren, die einem mit dem Golfwagen dann zum Hotel 'Holiday Inn' bringen können, wo man dann einige Restaurants, Shopps, Frisörsalon und andere Angebote vorfindet.
Dining
Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt ein einheimisches Restaurant, mit Seafood Spezialitäten. Scheint in Thailand sehr berühmt zu sein, da dort regelmässig Thai's mit Reisebusen aus Bangkok ankamen zum Mittagessen. Uns sagte dieses nicht so zu, ein paar Gehminuten weiter liegt der "Gecko Grill", dort war die Restaurant-Infrastruktur doch eher auf europäischen Niveau.
Nightlife
absolute Ruhe - im Hotel gibt es eine separate Hotelbar mit täglicher Life-Music.....die freundliche Band bindet gerne jederzeit die Gäste in die Show mit ein.
Outdoors or beach
Am Strand vor dem Hotel finden immer wieder Sportaktivitäten vom Hotel statt, allerdings ist das abhängig von der Gästezahl unter der Woche. Der Strand ist für diese Region relativ ruhig - keine Händler. An verschiedenen Stellen kann man etwas Wassersport (Jetski) machen, das Angebot ist aber überschaulich. Ein Strandbummel mit Muschelsammeln bietet sich an.
