Clean and comfortable but without character.

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: A complimentary shuttle to airport/train and bus station. 250baht to bus Stn. Is unreasonable.
Location: Night market, bars, restaurants and beach all within easy walking distance.
This is a standard, run-of-the-mill 4 star hotel. Nothing to fault but nothing out of the ordinary either.

Important Information for Tourists

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Ideal location in center of city
Cons: Construction work at a building directly across the street is loud. Construction starts approximately @ 8:00 AM.
The hotel is located in an ideal location walking distance to restaurants, the market and the beach. A mini-van service is adjacent to the hotel for transportation to/from Bangkok. The breakfast selection is average. There is fruit, cereal, eggs, bread, various juices, salad, coffee, tea and Asian food. I found small ants crawling on the fruit and plates. At check-in, the hotel requires a 500 BAHT security deposit. At check-out, the front desk accused me of putting blue ink stain on one (1) pillow case. (The pillow had no stain only the pillow case. There were 4 pillows on the bed.) I explained the pillow case with the stain existed when I checked-in @ 3AM. I thought nothing about it except that the hotel cleaning staff should have noticed the stain if they thoroughly cleaned the room. The staff noticed the stain during check-out because I intentionally put the stained pillow case on the bed for the staff to see. The front desk refused to listen to my explanation and charged me 200 BAHT. Since I was in a hurry to take the mini-van to Bangkok, I decided not to argue further. There is a new bus company at the Hua Hin Bus Station available for transportation to/from the BKK Airport.

Posted 28-May-2014
Pros: I like the staff who are friendly and always helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and breakfast is superb
Location: Very central location within walking distance of the night market, places to eat and lots and lots of shops.
Our stay started with a warm welcome from the staff and then found our room to have a magnificent sea view. The room was very comfortable and clean with a huge bed. Breakfast was superb with lots of variety and a lovely lady cooking eggs to order. Everything was really good.

Pros: Everything
Location: Very central so lots of places to explore
Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We found our room to be very clean and comfortable with an added bonus of free wi-fi and cable tv. The breakfast in the morning was superb. There was lots of choice and everything was very fresh. Everything you need is a short walk away including the night market, places to eat and lots of shops. I would definetly stay again.

Reasonable hotel, just!

Posted 05-May-2014
This hotel is in a good position. It is easy to get about from here. Close to eating paces and night market etc. However, there are better places to stay. Pool is not that appealing. Breakfast is just about ok, nothing special. Rooms are nice and spacious but we have to say they were not spotless. There was some rubbish left from previous occupants! Staff are obliging and helpful. Attracts many Chinese clientele.

Spacious room with good bathroom.

Good hotel, conveniently situated. Minutes from night market and a short walk to the beach. Large room complete with sofa. Due to my travel arrangements I arrived at the hotel early and was made to wait by the less than friendly reception staff until the official check-in time. Overall, a good hotel, well positioned for a pleasant stay in Hua Hin.

Royal pavilion a hidden gem

Posted 29-Apr-2014
We stayed for 8 nights and it was faultless from start to finish. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful and curtious. The room was well equipped and spacious, with excellent aircon and wifi. The roof top bar was a hidden gem with ice cold drinks and food served overlooking the sea.
