Near to beach, night market, and minivan

Posted 17-Apr-2014
the hotel is nice and comfortable but the aircond is facing the bed, its bad design. the breakfast is ok, but the restaurant is dirty and not enough staff. Staff are friendly. there is minivan company next door, very convenient if you would like to back to bangkok. But they can't speak english.

Peaceful and central.

Posted 06-Apr-2014
Central hotel but there is a very busy road to cross if you want to get to he beach which is excellent.Plenty of resturants to suit every taste and easy to find. There is a lot of different things to do if you want a rest from the beach. If you want to hire a car and driver for the day it will turn out cheaper if you ask the bellboy for a recommendation. We had a lovely break and would like to return sometime.

Our Royal Experience !!!

Posted 16-Mar-2014
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean well appointed room, and the remarks already stated.
Cons: Value for money, I believe the Royal Pavillion was terrific.Maybe the pool area could be improved somewhat.
Location: We were within walking distance of so many things to do, from the markets, to the central clock tower, P.O. etc.We just had fun exploring the area.
We found the location of The Royal Pavillion Hotel to be just so central to everything. It was a surprise to find it tucked in far enough off the main road to be quiet and restful. The exterior is attractive, as is the lobby, along with the staff. Always the everready smile, from the doorman, and all on the front desk. The spa experience with "Seera" was exceptional, as was the Buffet Breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was enjoyable and a good menu.

Noisy hotel

Posted 23-Feb-2014
Best bits - spotlessly clean and excellent condition, good pool, staff are nice, good location, value for money Bad bits - noise ! Building work in the hotel meant drilling from 8 am ish all day intermittently. Lots of people complained. We had noise from above and from the penthouse suite being renovated. We asked to move floors but were told it was full. To be fair every time we asked for it to stop - they did. But we don't go on holiday to hear drilling. There was no notice to guests in reception or any warning. This is a good value hotel in terms of location etc but I wouldn't stay here again. For us the train noise (hooting horn throughout the night) also means we wouldn't stay here again - on balance.

We have stayed there many times.

Posted 06-Feb-2014
Pros: The breakfasts buffet is always very good. And the restaurant has two locations; both are the same menu Western and Thai food. Reasonable and good.
Location: Near center of town and located very near many fresh seafood restaurants, also not far from the night bazaar and also the Market Village Mall.
We have been building our new home in Hua Hin for 9 months and have stayed there many times. The staff is always very helpful. The check in time is pretty strict at 2pm but some times they are lucky and a room can be done early but NOT often. The pillows are a bit big for me but that is purely personal taste. One room has a double bed and a twin bed pushed together to form a king size but only one that I know of. The hotel is located very near the center of town.

Excellent hotel in central location.

Posted 24-Jan-2014
Pros: It's location, large beds and free parking and Internet connection.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Central location so you are close to everything.
We had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean and the bed was really big and comfortable. The room was well equipped with everything that you would need for your stay. The central location made it easy to stroll out at night to see the markets or go for something to eat. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very helpful. A very lovely experience.

Hotel feels brand new. Rooms very good and clean. Lovely staff. Pool not so good as limited space and sun beds. Only short trip to main town centre and events. Recommended at such a low price.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff from the receptionist to the room cleaners. Beds and pillows are quite firm though. Had trouble getting comfortable in bed. The solution to this problem was to drink more singha beer. The food at the hotel was really good and the bellboy service was excellent. Overall I would give this hotel a 3 out of 5
