Beautiful pools
The good ; the pools were great and very clean probably the major drawcard for this hotel.The Staff were very pleasant.The breakfast is good .All bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and tidy.Compliments to the grounds keepers the plants were very pleasant . The not so good ; pigeon poo ; the room was 3 star old but clean and only had a tiny balcony with only one chair disappointing when payed for sea view .

It should be nice like its look.
I booked this hotel for my vacation and also to join an event at cha am beach. This hotel looks nice outside as well as pictures on website. The service at lobby is good and our first thought was to come back to this hotel again. However, the rests about this hotel are disappointed. With this price, other hotel's facilities and cleanliness are much better. Blanket is also full of dust. I felt so itchy and kept coughing. This is so terrible. Another terrible thing is the color of the water in the bathroom. When we turned it on, the color is brown like rusty in the water pipe. The staff told us that it is because not many people had used hot water and so the pipe is rusty. REALLY??? The staff who had visited our room told us to keep open the water until the color is clear. After 30 minutes, the color is still light brown. The only solution is that we have to wash our face with drinking water. Last one, the service during breakfast is also terrible. waitress should be trained again. We waited for long time for our table to be cleaned. Our table was cleaned after they finished cleaning another smaller table which has no one waiting for it. The quality of the food is not good as well.

Very few directions or advice about hotel facilties and even in the lift no indication on what floor the swimming pool or restaraunts where on nor in the room. Nice hotel but lacking in customer service tends to large amount of Chinese groups which is obviuosly there core buisness. Would I stay again, probably not unless customer service is improved and information to hand.

Poor Service and Health Hazard from Pigeon Pooped
we booked this hotel based on the review we read from various websites. Normally we use novotel which is near by but we decided to give this one a try and it was very disappointed. 1. there are 3 pools in this property, 2 of them were lots of pigeon droppings. ( water from top pools water fall down to below pool) 2. mattress OMG.......like sleeping on the floor, no softness. 3. Smell moldy, dirty couches. 4. water were yellow in 2 rooms we booked 5. no beach bed as shown in photos, you need to cross a road to the beach but there wasn't beach when we were there due to high tide. 6. Kids area was closed. 7. We requested 2 extras towels for our 9 months baby to used in the bath and wrap her up after came back from the beach that we didn't know there wasn't due to high tide and it became a big deal for them. front desk respond back with rudeness saying they only gave 2 towels per room, you can only exchange it. I explained to them that we need it for our baby. front desk later sent maid to gave us towels but the maid still repeating the same word. I told them to charge for using extra towels but just give us that. it ridiculous for hotel for not giving customers the towels there requested!! I have no idea why asking for towels became this much of a deal. One thing that we asked were just towels, nothing more. compared to what we paid VS service we received and how dirty and hazardous this hotel is, the price we paid were just too much.

the perfect place for water relaxing
3 big, clean and not so crowded swimming pools. If you get bored with the pools, you can just cross the street and enjoy the sea breeze and waters at the beach.

Poor Hotel Management
The Hotel could be great, seems to be run by poor Management or cost savings. I had to have a 5.30am phone conference/online call in the lobby (great service)due to poor WiFi service after l discussed this with the front desks days before. Only give you two tea or coffee at a time, expect you to pay 105 Batt for pot of cold milk. Turn down the shower hot water temp until you ask for it hotter. They count the towels in your room each day, my kids put their bathers in two towels & they questioned me about them on leaving, that's fair enough. Could be a great Hotel, run by the wrong ppl.

2,5 stars are farely close to what you get
This is a place you better avoid. To far out from everything and the Hotel itself is not in a good shape. It smells "old" in the lobby, lobby equipment is outdated and a mix of different styles. Staff I s friendly but not service oriented, I was waiting half an hour in the lobby bar before I got the chance to order a coffee. Hotel drinks are overpriced and since my stay I know that Wodka Lemon is a combination of Wodka and pressed lemon juice. No chance to get a drink outside and the restaurant was not operating after 2000 Wifi was only available in the Lobby. General impression: Hotel is already running low on money and s far away from a 4,5 Star rating.

Very nice and neat
We had a blast staying at this resort. The only disadvantage is that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms but only in the lobby. All the others, such as breakfast, staff, the service, the pool bar and the view, all scoring big points. The sea is in walking distance. We definitely will return to this resort as it has all the comfort we need and it really felt like home.

Stated a few days in Cha-am, much more quiete than Hua Hin, The hotel was nearly on the coast, but miles away from the small town and restaurants. When we wrre there the hotel was not busy at al. Breakfast was very good, the pools nice, but if you want to do or go somewhere you need transportation.

Grand Pacific Sovereign Hua Hin / Cha-Am
The GPS Grand Pacific is a beautiful hotel, great and wonderful staff, good food. Although what was very disappointing was the beds, they were as HARD as a ROCK, and also mosquito's were almost unbearable in the room at night while sleeping. The Hotel is almost a brand new hotel and very very nice and opulent marble, granite and stone. It is built farther down the street than the normal part of town so to get anywhere else in town is either quite a ways walk and hike or you can rent a motor bike outside the hotel for a cheap price.

Nice hotel with beautiful swimming pools, but stay off the beach; after walking barefoot at the waters edge the soles of my feet were stained by a black tarry substance which was difficult to remove.

Gorgeous rooms and facilities. Pool was a feature you shouldnt miss. However downside was miles from anywhere, beaches filthy and boring unless you bring a goid book. Transport pricey as was drinks, food. Lobby bar has nightly singer...so so. Best thing was pool and rooms.

Great spot! First experience on the beaches of Thailand so not much to compare to, but very comparable to various Mexican resorts we've stayed at. Friendly accommodating staff. Great room layouts. We recommend the duplex style with a king bed in a loft space. Multiple pools give lots of options for views and sun exposure. Access to the beach is across a low traffic road. There is a nice shady, grassy area for relaxing that leads to a staircase to the sand. Not a very large beach but quick access to larger beaches up the shoreline.

Room was mostly clean but the sofa was a bit dirty. We had to cross a road to go to the beach which wasn't much of a beach anyways. There were too many stray dogs on the street which are kind of scarry.

There were no hair conditioner, no body lotion, no aditional toilet papers..e.t.c. Those little things made me uncomfortable to stay. Also, the Japanese restaurant was not nice about taste and service speed. Italian was good. The location for view was great.

I met a bad experience when the first checking in. I booked for 2 rooms and requested the connecting room if possible. After booking was completed, I called to make sure whether I could have the rooms that I requested or not. The staff kindly told me that no connecting rooms for my requested. So he told me that he will arrange the rooms which close to each other for me and seemed that he had those kind of rooms for me. When I checked in, I found that I got 2 rooms which located at different buildings. The receptionist upgraded one room for me but it was really doesn't matter because I prefered 2 rooms which close to each other no matter what type of room. The receptionist didn't solve the problem very well. She just kept saying that we have no more room, sorry about that. Finally, me and my friends discussed how to figure out by ourselves. We didn't get any help form the receptionist at all. We all felt so bad about the service. The second thing is free wifi is not available for this hotel. Generally, accomodations in Thailand offer free wifi for guests. I honestly say that this is not 4 stars hotel and I will never return to there again.

Good facility but poor service
The hotel has a very good facility. The rooms were nice and big, the decorations and the pool was very nice. The main thing that the hotel needs is a new management. They should train their staff to have better customer service. The gentleman at the check in desk was very rude and arrogant. I spoke to him and he didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge and respond. Even the security guard and the gardener were more hospitable. People at the management level should be trained to take care of customers better.
