Overall my stay was good. Friendly staff, older room but nice with a comfortable bed. A few negative things were the two swimming pools were not properly maintained. Big main pool water was green. Smaller second pool was so dirty stuff was floating throughout the pool.

Chom View is great value
By American standards, this hotel is typical of a nice beach motel (room door is accessed from outside) found in places along the Eastern Shore. It's clean, comfortable, and well located. Not fancy, but all the basics are there. I had a pool-view room with king bed, and it was quiet for my Feb. Saturday night stay. The pool areas are nice, I opted for breakfast- typical Asian spread had something for everyone. Sausages were boiled though. Go for traditional food and it will be better! Great value for a short stay. 5 min walk to Tamarind and Cicada markets which are super fun- go there for dinner and and trinket shopping. It was much cleaner and fun atmosphere than I expected, both had live music and places to sit and enjoy and eat. Good for kids too. Several other hotels on the same street to explore for dinner and pools without going far or driving.

Would definitely prefer the one facing the sea mor
Thought it is only Chom View hotel when I booked the hotel, only to find out there’s another facing the sea, would definitely prefer the one facing the sea more. Suggest to make it clear in the app that there are 2 different hotels and one of them is facing the sea and the other is not (and is an older hotel)

on arrival at hotel room described as superior room was in fact like a butlins room. we had to pay an extra 19500 bahts extra for a deceit room which was really an apartment for 4 to 5 people we are not happy about this. the main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool which was great. we would like to make an official complete about this.

meh... maybe not again...
Breakfast was good. First night we were in the cheap rooms. I've seen some creative showers in Asia, but this took the cake. I wish I would have taken pictures of the 5 faucets in the tub, but I was too hot and too tired. Bathroom was dirty especially the light fixtures. A/C barely worked in the room and had a sign that we were not allowed to turn it lower that 24C. The pillows were so firm and tall I couldn't sleep. On the second night we asked to switch to a better room. They did allow us to switch, but said we had to pay the $30 more. Seemed worth it to have a better night sleep and i was desperate. So they sent us to the tower room and for the $30 more we got a room double the size at least with kitchenette, complete with dishes, dining table, couch and chair. This room was impeccably clean and smelled like teak. Night and day difference from the 1st room. However, downside was that the A/C only worked in the living room and the bedroom AC never came on. Unfortunately we got back late and didn't really realize the A/C was not working because the fan was going until probably close to midnight. We tried to sleep for a couple hours, hoping the sign by the a/c that said it would just take 2 mins to kick on was truthful. Unfortunately it was wrong. Finally after realizing we were sweating through our pj's, I made the tiny couch into a bed for my husband and I slept on the tile floor. Our friends stayed in a suite both days and had no issues.

Not what the pictures suggested
The pictures on Expedia showed a pool overlooking the ocean. It turns out that this is a separate part of the hotel catering for four person bookings. As we were a couple we were given a room in the hotel 500 metres from the ocean with no view at all. Also there is no beach access from this hotel at high tide as the waves crash against the barrier wall. All the “hot” foods at breakfast were actually cold, including the eggs. We witnessed small birds actually eating from the fried rice container. At certain times the food was also in the sun. Our room included a kettle but no cups, tea or coffee. The room was spacious and included two lounge chairs which was a bonus. We could not control the air conditioner in our room which was freezing during the day and hot at night. We only had a doona on the bed which was way too warm. Our booking included a surcharge for a special New Year dinner which we were never offered.

Staff very nice and helpful,bit of building work being done by the swimming pool but this never impacted on the experience,very close to the beach with a great view from pool area so you could always seethe children. Rooms where clean and these where cleaned and tidy every day by the hotel staff. Close to a night market,restaurant,7 11 shop and 10 minutes to town All my family enjoyed are stay and would go back again

Chom View is the Hotel in Huahin with the best Price/Performance, breakfast included. Located directly on the sea with a large Swimming pool and relax area with a direct Access to the sea. It is easily to reach from the Highway. A must to see is the natural reserve south of HuaHin with a lot of Caves or a walk from the Hotel to ko takiab

Hotel was nice, but not as seen in pictures. Not close to beach but its directly on sea. U can't get out on beach as it was full of water. For going to beach you need to travel to towncentre to locate beach around 2.5 km. No proper food was available except at morning breakfast. Room was clean and as expected. Just disappointment was beach area.

the towel is not clean, and no hair towel. the upper bath room has no hot/warm water. Took bath after 10 pm. was very cold. The excellence is the location. It's close to Cicada night market just five minute walk. This hotel is close to the beach too.

We love Chom View environment !
We liked the stay here due to the quiet and peaceful environment, such as the country side view. Nice swimming pool facing to the sea view. Very friendly staffs and provide good services information. We ready enjoy to stay here and will come back again. The tour group taxi stationed outside of the hotel provides very good servce as well.

Generally happy with the hotel. Breakfast can be improved if the light up food warmer and keep food warm. Living room sheet and cushion covers dirty and my 4 month old granddaughter got rashes after lying down.

Chom View - not much view!
The hotel was good, however it could improve vastly on the drinks at the beach-side pool. The cocktails were expensive and done el-cheapo (i.e. they had almost no alcoholic ingredients and were mostly juice). The breakfast had yogurt available only 1 day out of 4, and overall was pretty average - at the the coffee was good. The 'music' playing in the hotel reception and restaurant throughout the day over and over had me gritting my teeth! There was the same 'oldies' played from the 70's and 80's (including George Michael's Christmas song!!) with only about 10 songs in the playlist... it was dreadful - this could so easily be improved! I don't know why it is called 'Chom View' - there really is no view from any room except right at the front where the pool is.

Hua Hin is so popular now and the hotels are almost over price.I choose Chom View by a friend's recommend and i enjoyed what I got. The hotel is next to the beach and the pool is large the hotel atmosphere is very nice for my kids. The room is convenient and spacious. There are taxi infront of the hotel or you can walk 8-10mins to get to a bus stop.

Nice hotel good value for money - staff were very professional and pleasant (with the exception of the young cashier girl at the poolside bar - who clearly is not suited to this role uninterested, not happy approach is very un-Thai like). Great pool for both children and adults will definitely stay her again, Suggestion need safe in rooms.

This hotel is great for families, as there are many "Family Duplex" rooms available. They are as big as an apartment, quiet, and clean! The hotel website says there are two pools, and there are - but one is very small and shallow, in a courtyard. The other pool is beautiful, about 4 ft deep throughout, with a sectioned off part that is very shallow for small children. There are many day beds around the pool. Both pools close at 6pm. The hotel has a private beach access, although the beach isn't that great. Horses travel up and down the beach offering tourists a chance to ride, but dirtying the sand and making it inadequate for sunbathing. The ocean has many jellyfish, making it not a good place to play in the water. The hotel's website also boasts two restaurants and a pool bar. One restaurant is only open for the breakfast buffet. The other restaurant only has pizza and sandwiches, and it closes at 6pm. The pool bar has terrible coffee, overpriced soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. It also closes at 6pm. There are taxis that wait across the road from the hotel and have cheap, fixed prices to take guests into town. There is also the option of walking five minutes out to the bigger road and waiting for public transportation into town. On the weekends, the Cicada market is open and just a five minute walk from the hotel. Stalls sell handcrafted souvenirs, and there are many food stalls.

Overall not to bad.Good pool for the kids and nice beach straight from the hotel.A few things could have made it better such as hot water in the shower and a tv in main room,also breakfast gets a little boring as its the same everyday.Nice area away from street and bars but only a 150 baht taxi ride into main part of town if you want to go.We hired a motorbike which made it a bit easier to get around,also cicada market only a 5 minute walk

Nice, clean beach attached to hotel. Great beach pool. Very relaxing. Walking distance to Cicada Art Market. A lot of mosquitoes at the reception & beach pool area at night though, so we could not stay too long out. Breakfast dining area is rather small. Quite congested with a full house.

According to the page the pet will be charged 1,000 baht per day, however the actual cost was 2,000 baht. The point is when we tried to talk to them the price is different from hotel.com, we were told there's nothing they can do for us, it's not their fault at all and not giving any help on this , moreover not even try to contact hotel.com. NOTHING besides a "take it or leave it" attitude, very disappointed trip! The building is old and dirty as well.

Room are big however staff service standard are very poor. Only help on 1 luggage instead of 3. Whereby the date we arrive are considered low peak. Need to walk out a distant before reach main road. Near by are Cidaca night market , can book if you only want to relax at beach as it consider private beach with less people visit . Unlike Hua hin beach dirty and lot of ppl. Internet wifi only apply to lobby front desk that all. Unlike what stated when book :( :(

This hotel suited us fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we were delighted they were beside the small pool. The staff were friendly. It was good value for money. No frills but perfectly adequate. Room had everything we needed and good air con.
