The hotel was a bit outdated but, everything else was really nice!! Very clean! Very friendly! Very Safe. The area is basic and very local! Which I liked for local food some ok-decent foreign friendly restaurants nearby. The beach is across the street and just very relaxed. Cha Am is only a 2 hr drive to Bangkok, so easy for a taxi .. I just wanted a few days away and wasn't looking for a 5 star hotel. I really liked it for the price of the room and nearby restaurants it was good!! Very Local!!!

Pictures are flattering
Hotel is very dated and could do with some updating. Definitely not aimed at the non Asian customers. Breakfast buffet was limited for westerners. TV channels were non existent. Also WiFi code only lasted for a day and had to go to reception every day for a new one! Had problems with toilet in room and nothing done about it.

The breakfast buffet was the best things in this trip. We booked for 2 rooms. We got 4th floor (they said when we book in the website is seaview but the view was terrible we just see a bit of the sea the rest is just the roof of another building) The room quite old and the a/c not working. The staff came to fix and they dont take their shoes off and walk around in our room we ask them to take off they dont even care) Finally they cant fix the a/c so they ask us to change the room but seperate. Feel so sick for this offer. Its not even our fault and staff not seem really care a guest. So at the end we got a room upgrade but our feeling not feel any better.

It was my first time staying at this property, wanting to check it out and experience for myself prior to recommending it to my friends who have never heard of or visited Cha Am. I stayed 3 nights and overall it was okay. The receptionists were not friendly nor hospitable. I might add that an older receptionist, Jantrathip was not helpful and ignored me on two occasions, despite the fact I was first in line in front of the reception area. The other receptionist is busy on her phone instead of being focused on welcoming and assisting guests. The hotel management must change the front desk employees. Mgmt. needs to train and put in place pleasant and friendly employees, who are eager and happy to assist guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Employees need to be evaluated and graded by the guests, so that management is fully aware of the guests experience. Much room for improvement at this hotel. There were large groups of European tourists (groups of Swedish and French tourists) staying here long term. Breakfast time is a bit chaotic and food needs to be replenished and filled up when it is finished and dirty plates needs to be picked up and the table cleared asap. Special mention: The cleaning lady of my room is to be commended. She was courteous, efficient, and did a good job each day cleaning and tidying my room. Overall, I would not stay here again but will try and check out another place in Cha Am, as there are plenty of choices for tourists.

Would have been ok back in the day
Decent sized hotel well situated near beach, bars and restaurants. It’s cheap and good value for a family but it shows it’s age. Built in 70/80’s I’m guessing the rooms are tired and need upgrading, the showers and bathrooms in general are showing their age. The rooms also don’t cater for modern life, the only way I could find an electric socket to put in phone charger was to unplug a lamp on the floor. Nowhere to charge laptop or charge phone next to bed, needed if you use phone as alarm clock like me. Staff friendly but although hotel almost empty room not cleaned until 3/4pm every day, not good enough

I don't like counter service. The staff spoke no melodic unstable wifi had to change every day. The bathroom is bot clean,has fungus, from the advertisement the photos look beautiful,look good,but the real old condition.Electrical plugs are little disappointing. Net time will not use the service again

We mostly like the Asia Cha Am very much, but the last week stay did NOT turn out good because of the bed.....They took two beds to make one bed and the bed were very hard and very hard, not as comfortably as solf. The daily room service was great and friendly. Not enough drinking eater

Decent budget stay
Place is ok but crowded with local tourists, breakfast buffet is ok but it could be better. Good and polite service, nice sunset views from pool on the roof, nice fitness center as well. Hotel has annex with pool attached to all rooms on the first floor. Beach not that pretty but ok and very crowded with Thai tourists.

No infrastructure or taxi service but excellent hotel for budget end. Expect 30 - 60 minute wait for a taxi. There are taxis parked on seafront often. There were 2 receptionists, one good, the other openly hostile

Terrible stayed that I ever had! Do not spend your money here! Front Desk staff was not helpful at all! I was calling to as for the Wifi password and they said please come down to get your pass word, when I came down they said please wait in the room, they will send password to the room and I was like ???? I STILL DIDN'T GOT ANY WIFI PASSWORD UNTIL CHECKOUT! Breakfast is awful and too expensive for THB 300.- baht! Lack of well maintain. I will definitely not come back here for sure!!

Vi var på Asia Hotel i 14 dager. Hadde det helt fantastisk! Superior med havutsikt, rom 805. Sist vi var der klaget jeg på dueavføring i bassenget i 17. etasje. Hotelldirektøren lovet at det skulle han ordne. Nå var det 100 prosent rent. Honnør til personalet på Asia. Har vært på 40 forskjellige hotel i Thailand. Men Asia er mitt favoritthotel. Topp frokost og fornuftig pris. Gleder oss til å komme tilbake 30 dager i 2024. Anbefales på det sterkeste!!
