We were very pleased with this hotel, which we chose on the basis that it was dog-friendly and close to relatives in Hove. The only slightly negative comment (which didn't matter to us) is that the furnishings in the corridors are a little old-fashioned and worn, but everything was spotless and well looked-after. Even the many pot plants gleamed. Our room and en-suite were generously sized, well equipped and comfortable, everything worked, the breakfast similarly generous and well-cooked, and the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We have already recommended it to others and would certainly go back again on another visit.

A very pleasant hotel, particularly the young man who met me on arrival. I was impressed that when the receptionist saw my age (80), she transferred me to a room that could be reached by a lift without me asking. I would happily use this hotel again.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on business. Staff were very warm and friendly and knew about the area. The room was comfortable and very quiet. There was a restaurant for breakfast and also a bar.
The hotel looks great and is in a great london location , but on checking in the room had clearly been used for smoking and was very smelly , i was in a rush to go out and so opened the windows and hoped it would clear , on arriving back past midnight the smell was no better to late to change rooms i went to bed on getting up the next day i discovered there was no hot water , i reported to reception they apologised and said there was a problem they offered no compensation . I then contacted the hotel and made them aware of the issues they offered a free breakfast and an upgrade if a stayed with them again but no compensation, i will not risk another £180 on a night in a smelly room with no hot water , i was disappointed they would not offer another night in a decent room with hot water or at least my money back , i would suggest you stay elsewhere as they don't care
