“A Tale of Two Nights”
When we arrived at the hotel, we found that our reservation was at a similarly named Omni Hotel. We decided to change to this hotel, which took about 30 minutes for Expedia to accomplish (slow computers). The director of operations saw our delay and was most accommodating (more on that later)! Our transition was completed and we entered a clean, spacious and well appointed. Convenient, reasonable self-parking right across the street. We had a business meeting and returned that night to find a bottle of champagne and 6 chocolate covered strawberries! No one could tell us who sent it, but I'm sure it was the director, who felt responsibility in spite of the fact that he had nothing to do with the delay. Kudos! I had a very good night's sleep, very comfortable be and room (the A/C blows away from the bed, which is a plus)! The second night was a different story. If you're a party person, this is your hotel! It has a ritzy kind of LA feel. We couldn't park in the area we paid for, but instead had to go around back a quarter mile to another garage where you could only park on the 4th floor or above and no elevator. There were parties on the 1st and 2nd floor, which was fine, but some guests decided to have a party in the room across from ours on the 5th floor...NOT GOOD! We called the front desk to complain twice, but to no avail until certain guests left at 4AM! Given that rest was one of our objectives, this was not acceptable! If it were just the amenities we'd return
“Great hotel except for next door hotel guests”
Great location, great servic, great food. The only dissatisfaction was the hotel guests next door being too loud and banging on the wall. That being said, I have to hand it to hotel security. As soon as I made them aware, the noise stopped within 5 minutes.
“Great location & staff”
Arrived on a Saturday afternoon to find hotel crowded with a wedding and some other gathering. Due to this, we ended up in a smoking room which is not what we requested. They advised us of the overbooking situation and informed us that they could not provide a non-smoking room until the next day. They were kind enough t "spray" the room and send a bottle of champagne for our discomfort and promised to move us by 10am the next day. After this, the rest of our stay was wonderful. Great location, close to galeria and a very nice and pleasant staff.
“Make sure to respect clients needs of staying in a not smoking room”
My only problem was that they put me in a smoking room the first night, even though I explained to them I suffer from allergies. They changed me the second day, but it was a very uncomfortable night the first one, plus the hazard of changing all all the suitcases and things for the second day. ... You should make sure to clients are able to say if they want a smoking or not smoking room...
“Great location, first class hotel”
This is a great location for business traveler during the week and for visitors during the weekend. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise.Great amenities, including spa.
