Pros: Provided a nice breakfast buffet, cocktails for an hour and cookies and milk in the evening -- all at no extra charge.
Location: Walking distance to Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center. Metro light rail was down the street to bring you to the downtown natural science museum.
Great hotel staff! Room was updated and comfortable. Walked or took metro light rail so didn't have to fight traffic or worry about parking for Astros game nor Garth Brooks concert. The only negative was construction going on across the street so noisy during the day.

Almost perfect

WiFi is no longer a luxury but almost a requirement. The "free" WiFi was terrible (but for a fee you could of course "upgrade" to WiFi that actually worked). First class hotel very conveniently located in walking distance to Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center. If they get their WiFi act together, it would be five stars for sure.

Very nice hotel, great breakfast buffet. The pool is very small. Access to many restaurants walking.

Old and neglected hotel at a great location

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything!
Location: Theater District, downtown attractions, etc.
Very old hotel, poorly maintained over many years. It is rated as a four star hotel but comes not even close to a 2 star. Poor customer service. They didn't even have a hotel information booklet in the room. Small pool on the roof.

Nice hotel but not close to much nightlife

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Hotel is clean, good friendly service. Unfortunately we wanted to sit in hot tub but was not filled/functioning. Also assuming hotel was downtown, we were slightly disappointed there was not much very close to hotel as far as restaurants, bars or nightlife for a weekend spot.

It was amazing!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, only complaint is the pool was a little small... But it is on the roof! Haha

Stayed overnight to attend an Astros game. Was only 4 blocks from stadium. Room and staff were great. Happy hour with free well wine and beer or half off others. Nice basic breakfast bar in am.(Eggs meat potatoes bread). Would stay again. Good location.

excellent hotel in the center of houston.

Cons: The gym could have been bigger.
Location: RIGHT in the middle of the city.
Excellent hotel in the center of houston, very clean , staff was outstanding, free breakfast. free car for trips around town. Will come again, also had afternoon cocktails and milk and cookies for guests.
