“Marriot Texas Medical Center”
Everything is much improved since my last stay six months ago. Maybe they have a new general manager.
“Room is good, but not without small problems”
Small problems include: the heater doesn't work (maybe they turn it off), the hot water is OK but not very efficient, and so on. Otherwise it's good; after all, it's Marriott. But given the price, which does not include the internet and breakfast, one might expect more.
“Basic”
Nothing fancy, but nothing really bad. The room was small, shower substandard, valet parking slow and the breakfast was expensive in the room for what it was (but most of them are nowadays) and the restaurant is average. The lounge on the other hand was good. Very practical if you have business at the medical center otherwise nothing to brag about.
“Horrible Experience!!”
First we were checked into a room on a low floor with a view of the HVAC units outside. We could also hear the noise coming from them in the room. We knew right away this was not the room for us. We then were given another room but to only find out the carpet smelled very bad. It smelled like the carpet was wet and did not fully dry and started to mold, basically a wet carpet smell. It was not pleasant. Finally we were given a room on a higher floor and everything was fine. We managed. When we were checking out someone had stolen a charger out of our car that we valeted with them and the management blamed it on us!! As you can imagine we were extremely upset. Don't ever stay here! This is not what hotel service should be like!!
“will go back in january for medical check up..”
.......excellent cuisine.........very helpfull staff..a very good overall experience.
“Surorise”
Rooms not available , oversold, who cares? few days room services were poor and supplies not replenished.
“Great Hotel”
I went for business at the Medical Center so it was a perfect location. The rooms were very nice and the staff was very friendly and competent. I would defintely stay here again.
“Great Location”
Can't beat location if you need to be in the medical center, only downside is expensive parking.
“Disappointed in San Antonio”
The hotel was located in the medical center area, but that meant very busy streets and confusion when driving. In addition, the beds were not comfortable and it appeared the bed sheets had not been changed since the last visitor. I have no clue how others have rated this hotel greater than a 2. My family will definately not return.
“Central location, just what we expected”
The place is exactly what you'd expect. The hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was an overall good experience. The pool/ hot tub needs some renovations, but other then that the hotel was a good choice.
