“Not hot water/No air”
The hotel was beautiful inside, extremely clean and impressive. The desk people were very nice and efficient. The room was nice and very clean. When we came back to the room that evening and went to take a shower, there was no hot water. Called the desk, they apologized, another guest had already reported it. They said they had been having problems with it. The maintenance called at 11:46 to tell me to try it again! Later on that night, the airconditioner in the room failed. We woke up at 3:00 AM and it must have been 80 degrees while the temp dial said 65. Too tired to deal with it, did the best we could. In the morning when we checked out I reported the problem, they apologized and asked if we wanted free breakfast. At this time, we just wanted to leave. For a Hilton name, dispappointed.
“Would come back again.”
Good price/location, clean room, and friendly staff. Good overall experience.
“Love my stay totally”
I have had to make several recent trips to Houston and I've stayed at a different hotel each time. But my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was the BEST! I have considered it to be my first choice when I travel to Houston. The hotel was exemplary across the board. From the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel to the friendliness of their employees. My room was outstanding, spacious and comfortable in all manners. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and cozy giving me a fantastic night sleep. Especially since I was able to use their "open all the time" exercise room. Unlike most hotels that close their exercise facility in the evening hours, Hilton Garden Inn's is open 24hours to it's tennants. On-site security monitoring outside left me at ease concerning my vehicle. Plus to top it off...the hotel dining room is avaliable for those who don't feel like going out to eat. Very classy. This hotel will be my recommendation for any travelers needing a place to stay while in this part of Houston. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!
“Right in the middle of Houston China Town”
We arrived at 9:00 pm in Houston. It took us 1.5 hour to arrive at the hotel because I set the wrong address in my GPS. Be carful setting the address in your GPS if you drive, West San Houston Parkway has North and South, and both of them has #6855. We also spent a few dollars at the toll booths, and wish we had taken the electronic auto pass offer at the car rental. The hotel itself is fine. It is right in the center of China Town with a lot of resturants and grocery stores around.
“Nice for the Price”
The place to stay when you just need a place to sleep and you dont want to go to a motel6.
“Great Hotel”
Clean rooms, conveniently located in Houston China town. Friendly Staff and had just everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.
“chris”
The staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be the maid service knocked on my door at 9:00 am, check out was not until noon! The room was clean, everything worked, the bed was very comfortable. Great stay and really good price.
“Turn off the tub!!”
My room was pleasant and clean, but all night long it sounded like someone above me was running a bath. And then he'd add more hot water. And then some more. All night long. A fellow traveler in another room said she did not hear anything either night. My room (217) must have been strategically located next to some water pump pipes- nice hotel, but stay away form rooms that end in 17! The people that work there are wonderful.
“Pleasant surprise”
Excellent hotel for the price. Microwave and refrigerator in each room was very useful. Nice included breakfast and very good staff.
“I am no so impressed”
The reason that I no so impressed with this hotel was the toilet are pug when I first got the room, it was very inconvenience after the long drive.
