Vacation with grandkids

Pros: Actually we've always stay at this hotel when my son attended Rice, staff is always friendly.
Cons: At this moment can't think of a thing that needs improving.
Location: Wonderful excess to Mall, different eating places, easy excess to getting back on 45
They had a wonderful time in the pool. Traffic wasn't too good this trip due to construction but overall it was a great time had by all

Business Trip to Houston-Greenbriar area

Pros: A great, accommodating staff.
Cons: Bathroom is a bit cramped; acceptable and clean, but small.
Location: Great restaurants easily accessed by walking: Lupe's Tortilla and Haven are two of my favorite restaurants.
My first stay at Four Points on US59 between Kirby and Buffalo Speedway was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptional and the room was clean and very functional. Bathroom is minimalist but more than acceptable.

Noisy!

Pros: Close enough to Galleria area without the high prices.
Cons: Rooms are noisy and shades do not block light adequately.
Location: Pretty easy to get to from IAH and HOU, good access to downtown and Galleria business and entertainment.
Good location for the property, and staff are friendly. However, right on SH59 so lots of road noise and ambient light. Difficult to get a good sleep.

Bad, Bad, and Bad.

Pros: Front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. The builing looks far beyond its age in terms of wear. Give it a good scrubbing and a fresh coat of paint.
Location: Great central location close to lots of food and shopping.
Dingy, dirty, and poor service. This building is not on par with its sister properties. The maintenance work has been ignored for what appears to be a very long time. There were buckets in the halls to catch dripping water even though it was not, nor had it been raining. The restaurant staff was slow, inattentive, and un-knowledgeable. It felt like I was staying in a low-budget motel.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the experience. The hotel just changed ownership and management this past March and there are lots of wonderful changes coming. We are in the final stages of planning our renovation, which will start late summer/early fall this year. We are working very hard to improve our associate's service with lots of structured training so I'm confident the results have and will continue to show improvement. Pros: I liked the location. It was centralized to everything: food, entertainment, work.
Cons: It would be nice to have kitchenettes provided for those who need to store food for snacks and warm them up, especially for diabetics.
Hotel room was disappointing. The carpet had dark stains. There were food stains on the ironing board. The light switches were dusty and dark around the boarders. The room just need a thorough cleaning. My daughter requested creamer for her coffee and had to call back again before she received it. I just feel the hotel was an old military dorm converted. Not much class to it.

To the contrary...

I read several bad reviews about the staff in this hotel. To the contrary of the claims of rude/bad service, the staff in this hotel was professional, polite and very friendly. That goes from the front desk to the staff performing room cleaning. Great location, although right on the highway, providing quick access to business locations, the Galleria, park, town center and Montrose.

Pros: Internet was good and stable.
Cons: The entire hotel needs a look makeover with better finishes (for the price per room)
Location: The hotel is located near a highway, which is loud. However, the parking lot was secure and there were many good restaurants near by car, not on foot.
There was no complimentary breakfast in the morning. I was put in a room next to the boiler and had to move. Overall the hotel was not clean, the bathrooms in both rooms has tiles painted over in the shower. It gave the appearance of luxury, but was very poorly executed in the end.

Very comfortable, clean and convenient ... but

Pros: Price, proximity to attractions
Cons: Sound insulation?
Location: Galleria mall, the water wall is within walking distance from the mall so you can keep the car in mall parking. Lakewood church is a 2 minute drive
Being close to the freeway the sound of cars at night kept me from sleeping for a long time. Request for the side of the hotel not facing the freeway. Other than that it is close to many of the popular places like the Galleria, etc. It has a good breakfast menu though you have to pay separately for it.

Pros: My favorite part was talking to the staff. They were all so friendly!
Cons: Serve complimentary breakfast and supply a couple of extra towels.
Location: Lots of food places close by.
Very clean room and comfortable beds. We requested fridge and got it immediately. Only complaints are ice machine was broken on our floor so we had to go to different floor for ice amd no free breakfast. Most hotels we stay at offer a complimentary breakfast. It would also have been nice to have extra towels.
