“It was ok”

The front desk is friendly. The main issue I would say is the noise level. You really can hear right through the walls, and we were located next to the elevator. All night we could hear the elevator bing and people come and go, and talk and one person yelling. Even with my ear plugs, it was too loud and wasn't very restful. However, It was convenient, affordable for short notice, and clean. Don't expect extras like a free breakfast; expect to pay too much for hotel food. IHOP is right down the road.

“Great stay”

This was a great place to stay at, i wished i would have stayed here for my whole stay. i booked it last minute that night as it was my last night in Houston. I will for sure look into booking this hotel again.

“good hotel at a good price”

I was very pleased with my stay! I had a king-bed room and it was spacious and clean. there were good channels on TV plus on demand shows. I even got a free cookie in the afternoon! My only complaint would be the location, although the noise of the freeway did not bother me, it was a little difficult to get in and out of the hotel because of one-way feeder roads. After driving around houston, I suspect traffic will be bad no matter where you stay! I would definitely return to this hotel.

“A bad experience”

- The person at the desk did not have basic skills to attend passengers. He spoke very low without even looking at me and I had to strain to understand what he wanted to say. - The room only had one serving of coffee, that is just for one person, even when it was requested for a married couple. - The hotel does not provide free breakfast. Considering the price of the room, this was to be expected. Overall, too cheap and noisy. I will not return.

Area recommendations

I am not familiar with Houston, but I will certainly not recommend staying alongside Route #59.

“2 star hotel quality”

The air conditioning did not let me sleep sounded like a jet engine and also not cool the room. The beds are not comfortable. There was no ice in the dispenser of the aisle. My daughter walking on the carpet and his feet were stained carpet dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to people traveling with their family. The hotel has room to be used for furtive romance

“Extremely nice place to stay.”

This hotel is well worth the money.....as a matter of fact, can't believe the nightly rate is so little. The front desk personnel were very cordial, the room was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent....we ate there every night instead of going out. Our only wish is that the pillows would not have been so soft....when you laid your head down, the pillow seemed to envelope your face. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay and when in the area we will definitely stay there again. P.S.....Thanks for the free WiFi.....that's a plus.

We were there to attend the Rice-Tulane football game. We selected this hotel because of the price and proximity to the campus. It was easy to find and the parking area was well lit at night.

“Very Dissatified”

I was extremely disappointed in my stay. After calling 2 times to inform them of my late arrival and confirming that they had me down for a double room, after arriving they only had a king bed and they put me in a handicapped room. I was traveling with another person, so it made it extremely uncomfortable. The shower head was not powerful sprayer at all, so it took forever to wash your hair. The heater did not work and only blew cold air. When we arrived one evening it was 40 degrees outside and our room was freezing and we coudln't turn on the heater. I will never stay here again...Good price but very dissappointeed
