“It's always humid in Houston.”

Pretty much what you'd expect: a studio apartment with minimal amenities @ a moderate price. There are 4 restaurants nearby (1 next door/3 across the street; 3 dinner/1 breakfast+lunch) all of which are considerably more pricey than the ESAH itself. Close proximity to the Galleria and excellent I-610 access.

“Good value received”

My wife has a small business and we travel around the country doing art shows. We like to stay at Extended Stay hotels for all the usual reasons (e.g., kitchen facilities, more room than you find at the typical hotel, etc.). This hotel was very good. There were no problems in our room - everything worked. Front desk staff were excellent.

“I stay there everytime”

I have stayed at least 6 times at this hotel and will continue to use it every time I am in Houston. The location is perfect - one block from the Galleria mall and right off the freeway. It is literally right across the street from a great breakfast place- Le Peep - and close to all kinds of stores and shops. The hotel is always clean and updated and the rooms are large. The kitchen comes in handy - especially the extra counter space, sink, and full-size fridge. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Parking is free and abundant.

“Houston Galleria stay”

Had reserved a king size bed but they did not have any available when we checked in at 3:00 PM - room was not ready but they quickly cleaned it up. All in all good value for the money.

“Nothing elaborate, but modest, simple, & well maintained with very personable and helpful staff”

I needed clean, basic, pleasant accomodations while attending a week-long conference. The price was more reasonable than surrounding facilities, so I anticipated that the furnishings and general atmosphere would be less extravagant and lavish than the expensive competition. It was; but it suited my needs well. By the end of the week, it felt like home.

Area recommendations

Galleria - has fabulous shops and restaurants, is out of the busy downtown section, but is busy enough to get a taste of the classy side of Houston.
