“Not for "Joe Six-Pack"”

The place was neat, clean, and the staff was compitent. Tthe other places I stay at have a "complimentary breakfast". This one wanted to charge over 10 bucks for the breakfast buffet and drnks are NOT included. Snooty, I saw a McDonalds within walking distance. I'm outta here. If you need the "valet" treatment then stay here. I won't. You must also pay dearly for parking. No Mas.

Hotel does have good location close to the shopping malls , however most rooms have only one window.

“Worn at the heels”

Check-in service was good. The hotel is in a good location, but is showing it's age. Wireless service was poor, public spaces and rooms were worn, refrigerator in room was not working, ice machine on our floor was not working. In our first room, the AC was not working, so they gave us another room. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size, parking was ample and reasonably priced. We did not eat in the restaurant, so cannot comment on service or quality there.

“convient to TSU campus”

have stayed here twice to visit daughter at TSU, nice short commute (except at rush hour) nice hotel, lobby/lounge busy at night, due to hosted events. Parking can get crowded on lower levels due to same

“One of the Best!”

Hotel was very clean, reception desk people were very, very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities needed. I would definitely come back!

“Not Impressed”

Seemed very outdated and just old. The rooms still have old tube TVs in them. The computers in the business center were extremely slow, it took a very long time for pages to load. The alarm clock in my room was wrong which caused me to miss one of the shuttles going to the Galleria. The room was small. On the upside it was in a good location and staff were in general friendly, but overall was not impressed. Will not stay here again.

“Good for visitor to Rice”

This seems to be the best choice of a hotel for a visitor to Rice. The hotel provides shuttle service to Rice, and there are very good restaurants in the neighborhood. I have stayed there twice. Both times the staff was very friendly and helpful. The first time, my room was a little musty. This week, my room was great.

“Nice hotel and convenient location”

We got this hotel through Expedia's "blind" process because we wanted to stay near the Houston Galleria but so many of the hotels had crazy high prices. So we took a chance and ended up with this hotel. It wasn't too bad. Obviously was an older hotel, which we noticed as soon as we drove up. The check in process was really nice and the service good. The TV in our room wasn't too good--it was an old box TV. But the room was nicely furnished and we had a pleasant stay overall.
