The hotel is every clean and I would go back to the hotel to stay. They clean the rooms every day. The breakfast was not too good.

“Outside entrance - Very nice Desk Lady”

Outside entrance is the primary challenge. For a female traveling by herself this is not good. I had to stay at this hotel because of situation with flights leaving me stuck in Houston. All hotels near the airport were full. I booked this through Expedia. The only reason I stayed at the hotel was because of the wonderfully friendly and comforting lady working the front desk. In addition, a security guard was in the lobby. After I checked in, the lady had the security guard walk me to my room. The next morning, my Super Shuttle did not appear. The same lady at the front desk help me contact Super Shuttle and make sure alternate arrangements were made. The lady at the front desk was nicer and more helpful than most desk people at 5 star hotels. The lady deserves some recognition for making feel comfortable in a less desirable hotel and location. “Great staff bad hotel”

The hotel is not a 2 star its not even a star. The employees were friendly, professional and eager to help. The hotel smelled, the breakfast good try but cheap. coffee had a bad taste. another was made but it still taste bad. I thought is was me but another guest (couple) agreeded. The Security at night around and made a presence. For some its good to see, but for me I feel uneasy. It was more a truck stop type of hotel, bed was not comfortable, TV volume very low, Plumbing in shower needed to be fixed.

This is dirty hotel and room was full with bedbugs,cant sleep the night before my very important test examination !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall stay was satifactory with the exeption of the toilet not being clean on the outside. Staff was pleasant.

“Should be named Super 8”

Usually I go for the hotels that have better stars but I stayed in a Baymont in Alexandria, La and it was unbelievably nice but this Baymont should be called Super 8 because that's exactly how it is. Subpar breakfast, the room desperately needs updating plus the hot water did not work in the sink area and the internet connection went out and was out until I checked out. It certainly earns a 2 star rating.

“my car was wrecked on the way to hotel”

After the wreck I arrived at 2:30am in the morning and checked in, the lady was very nice,gave me a smoker room and told her non-smoker and she then gave me non-smoker room.Very nice room,clean,comfortable bed.During the night power went off,did not awaken til 10:06am and desk lady (different person)said no breakfast stopped at 10:00am,later told her wrecked car,then she said if she knew this she would have given me food.She did call Expedia about cancelling my second night since unable to get connection with Expedia. Talked to Expedia today and they gave me credit for second night.The hotel was very nice and I recommend this hotel.Be sure to eat breakfast before 10:00am.

“Carefully check out your room”

If you have no other choice, please carefully check out the room before getting it. There was cockroaches and bedbugs that literally run around on your bed but only at midnight. The noise from the freeway was loud, especially at night so earplugs would be helpful. I was terrified since this was a 2.5 star hotel. Other than that, the rate is cheap and that staff is ok. You need to have a car to get around since there is nothing much within walking distance.
