“Bang for your Buck”

Very good deal, the hotel could use a little few upgrades here and there but you get your monies worth here. The Hotel Staff is exremely nice and will do whatever they can to help make your stay a plesant one. My kids loved the waffles at breakfast!!

“Needs better maintenance”

The young man at the front desk at check in was very pleasant and accomodating. The 1st room I was put in had no lights in the bathroom and the air conditioning worked very poorly (which in Houston is an absolute no-no). When maintenance arrived he commented that the bathroom lights not working was due to the flourescent bulbs being loose. I requested to move to another room with better air conditioning and they promptly accomodated my request. The 2nd room's A/C worked very well but I still had a problem with the bathroom lights. Remembering what the maintenance guy had said about the lights in the previous room, I opened the light cover and jiggled the bulb and it came on. I had to this about 33% of the time that I turned on the lights in the bathroom. Only 2 of the lamps in the room actually worked. I needed to iron my clothing for my event that evening and tried to trade bulbs from one of the working lamps to the one by the desk that was not working only to discover that someone had cut the plug in completely off the lamp's cord.

“Ok to stay”

The hotel was probably a 2 star, the elevator didn't work a few days and the treadmill had a belt problem and it was slipping, so I couldn't work out while I was there. The rooms were average, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is just an average hotel but it was convenient to downtown if you rent a car. There are restaurants right around it within walking distance, but I wouldn't walk there (being a woman) as there were a lot of shady-characters all around.

“Decent place close to the highway”

Stay here for a business trip. Close to the highway so it was very convenient. Motel employees were nice and helpful. Did not use much in the way of motel features like the pool or fitness room, but the internet access in the lobby was helpful and the free breakfast was good.

“Ok Hotel”

The hotel was basically what I expected, no frills but good price. Location was easy to get to and close to dowtown and the zoo. Breakfast offerings were more than what I have seen at other similiar hotels.

“Good value for your buck...”

This place is exactly as advertised. It is not the best, but it is great value for the money you pay. It is quite near to downtoan and other important areas.Everything looked good to me except the locality. The people in shops around that area do not speak english, which was bit of problem for me. overall, I would recommend the place.

“We really enjoyed our stay”

The service was wonderful. They even brought us up a small refrigerator free of charge. The breakfast was very nice, right down to the Texas shaped waffles. the room was very comfortable. The only negative was that the elevator was not air conditioned (it was hot)
