“Overnight Business Traveler. Will be back.”

Travel to Houston occasionally and this is the best cheap hotel you will find. Clean and comfortable with nice staff. Free shuttle or less than ten bucks for cab ride to the airport. Will continue to go back when in Houston. Just like you, was skeptical at first.

“Not Impressed”

When I checked in, the Agent seemed to have attitude. There was no greeting, no thank you.

“It was just fine, and inexpensive.”

We stayed three nights over a holiday and had no problems. The free breakfast was always busy, but i wouldn't expect anything different. It had fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, waffles, french toast, coffee, milk, oatmeal and other stuff. There was a very nice flat panel Samsung TV which was an unexpected surprise. Front desk staff was always attentive and quick. the work area table was too big for the small space, in my opinion, but we survived. There was a nightly security patrol in the parking lot. I used the wireless about 5 times, only didn't work once. It was quiet in the area we were in. Overall quite satisfied.

“Can I have what is on the picture”

Looks and sounds nice from the pictures provided and description, but the experience is quite different. Internet connection was there, but network was always busy and worthless. Forget about using your cell phones in the rooms because the signal is no good. The "Continental Breakfast" is a total joke and the shower/TV sucks. The only good experience I had with the room is that Expedia was able to get me an early check out and refund on the remainder of my nights in Houston!

“good place, close to airport”

comfortable, room on courtyard quiet. Left early so no breakfast as before 6 tho attendant did open juice machine.

“good location to Ellison Field”

I travel to Houston for the air show at Ellison field and the hotel is very convienient location. If you fly in Houston Hobby is nearby. there is a good Mexican restaurant near the entrance, and the hotel sits back off of 45. It's also located near shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean and modern and comfortable

“No surprises is good”

This hotel is an example of why I lke Expedia. It was within 2 miles of my optimal location, was down on the extreme value end of the price list, and was everything an overnight stay should be. There was nothing outstanding or offensive to note or remember.

Area recommendations
As a twenty-year resident, and a twenty-five year expatriate, I cannot recommend anything about Houston to anybody. I actually only came there to leave again, non-stop to Amsterdam. My high point of the stay was finding my car still in the parking lot the next morning. I think the Heights are still pretty nice, but I am actually a ghetto groupie, and the best ones are being gentrified fast.

“Suitable, close to airport, nice staff”

Very attentive staff, wireless worked, even in my room on the far side. TV movie ordering didn't work, but that was minor. Overall, would stay again.
