Close to the Cricket
It's unfortunate that the lift was not working, and the hotel is solely on the 3rd floor. The common portion of the building was undergoing repairs and it was dirty, but the hotel proper is very clean with good service. If you are here for the Cricket, Super Convenient!

Great location. Service was excellent. The hotel itself is very modern, great decor and mostly clean. Toilet wasn't cleaned thoroughly when we arrived which was a bit off putting. The outside of the building is under construction but inside is fantastic. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a great stay, thank you.

I have stayed at this hotel a total of four times over the last six years. It’s location is very convenient fronting on the popular seafront - Marine Drive. The rooms are small but comfortable. Above all the rates are very favourable.

Nice hotel close to Marine Drive
I stayed here for a single night, and it was an amazing experience. Just cross the road and you'll get an amazing view of marine drive. The hotel staff was also helpful.

If you have to stay without food, stay here.
Hotel location is very good, just over Mumbai famous Marine lines​. But this hotel does not offer any facilities. Food is not available in the hotel and no restaurants are available within one kilometre. They bring packaged food, if you order minimum one hour in advance. Rooms are very small. Attached bathrooms are not having ventilation and foul toilet smell fills the room whenever you use the big one. Almost all mobile networks don't work inside the room. Only respite was free WiFi of the hotel. Will never recommend to anyone.

The staff are really nice and helpful. The room is dirty with stains on the sheets, walls, and towels. The rooms definitely need some TLC. The area is ok. The marine walk is nice and you can walk to all the sites from there. There is not any food, bars, or restaurants close. You have to walk 20 mins. You are not allowed to have anyone in your room. Even though it is your room. I wouldn't stay here again.

Well situated budget hotel
Room had a stinky bathroom as if sewage pipe was thru the bathroom. Staff pretended they've never had this before. Which was a lie Didn't like that.

Two same name hotel buto different locations.
The hotel was not clearly named. Taxi from airport drop us at another Bentley Hotel in calabash where we booked at marine drive. So beware future hosts. No parking availability for dropping and pickup. Nevertheless we had a nice time as restaurants were close by.

Good location ok budget hotel
Taxi had trouble finding the hotel so good idea to ask for airport pick up. The location right by Marine Drive and walking distance from Church gate Station is great. Room ok - small double bed and very small covers so ok if you like sleeping close together. Air con very noisy. Clean enough but don't (really don't) look behind the tv! so, a budget hotel, not for fussy people but good for a night or two.

On Marine Drive and close to Churchgate Station.
This is the second time I stayed at the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate. The hotel occupies the third floor of a residential building. The location is quite safe and the evening walk along the seafront can be very pleasant.

Dirty, noisy rooms in a nice location
This hotel's main redeeming quality is the convenient location on Marine Drive, making it easy to walk or taxi to tourist spots in Colaba. The staff are also helpful, but they can't overcome everything wrong with the Bentley Hotel Churchgate. It's on the third floor of an old office building, and difficult to find from the street. The rooms are very dirty -- stained sheets, mildewed walls, stinky pillows, peeling cloth walls -- it's badly in need of a renovation. Single men roam the halls, leer at you while they use strange massaging machines in the lobby, and make very loud noises all night long, in their rooms and in shared bathrooms. There was one very badly placed outlet in my room. The free breakfast was pretty good. The internet was free and okay, but not nearly fast enough to get any work done. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are a single female traveler -- you just get an odd feeling from the whole space. However, you get what you pay for!

I reached Hotel around 4pm for late arrive train due problem rain so not available my room which I had booked this hotel but the Manager said that another hotel Raidge so why far away from Churchgate Bentley Hotel. I m not happy it. Always I booked so why another Hotel? I AM DEAF PERSON but they did not SMS me for many times missed call to my mobile so I am not hearing by phone.

Comfortable stay on Marine Lines.
I had already called the Hotel to inform that I would come before the check-in time. On arrival, the manager at desk was courteous & helpful. As no vacant single room was available, he arranged for me access to common clean washroom to get fresh & change my clothes. Also breakfast was arranged. I stayed for two nights & checked out on Sunday morning. Overall all employees were courteous & helpful.

Being a lone female I felt quite safe and relaxed. Staff was very helpful and cooperative. Rooms were small but tidy, Perfect when you are out and about and just want a good night sleep at night. Good location at Marine Drive as you can expect sea facing if you get a room with a view would be a plus. The hotel is on the 3rd floor but lift available. Rooms are with and without bathroom, so make sure by calling them in advance what you want. breakfast on bed little choice tho. Overall service is good and stay was pleasant.

The reception is nice, the room was small with the double bed against the wall, the bathroom was big and very clean. The TV was welcome. My only complaint was it was very noisy, door slamming at 3am, I could hear everything in the room next door (on the phone, TV at 7am). Breakfast was in the room, you have to phone and ask, which was fine, but annoying they didn't mention about breakfast when checking in. Also you have to turn the hot water in yourself which I didn't find out until day 3 you might have thought they would show you when they show you the room.

Perfect for a few nights due to low prices and the almost perfect location. Unfortunately no luggage room in case of early arrival or late departure. Breakfast ordering should be clarified in advance, since only in the room available. Overall I would recommend it.

Homely stay experienced at Bentley with the staff,
I stayed in the room number 101. This room was good and very much clean. Space is well sufficient. The staff were very friendly and supportive. It's much better a wide choice is given to the guest on the brekfast.

i cant say enough good things about this place! it is a total bargain for a start! clean smart rooms with AC and very clean bathrooms and amazingly comfy beds! the staff were very friendly and helpful. we had a safe in our room that didnt work and within 5 minutes they had replaced the whole safe! no messing! breakfast is included and becuase there is no restaurant you get breakfast in bed. perfect! breakfast is good too!...an omlet and toast with tea/coffee. excellent location too, right on marine drive and totally walkable to all the nice restaurants and india gate. a great way to spend the last few days of our trip, in a bit of luxuary. from reading other reviews it appears to be that there are 2 properties to this hotel. one is clearly the better one (where we stayed!) and the other one by all accounts seems to be of a lesser quality. them having 2 properties wasnt apparent to us though and we were totally under the impression that this was the only one. but i couldnt fault this place at all.

On the sea front, and very central...
The room was clean & comfortable---internet worked well---important. Staff friendly & helpful. Building was under going some renovation so there was some noise--not so pleasant after a long flight.

It is a great location hence good value for money. However due to space constraints not all rooms have attached bath. At times the common loo is not closed and this raises a stink. They seem to be understaffed

The hotel is a little hard to find-about a 5 minute walk from the Virgin Atlantic office on Marine Drive-and the manager is a very austere fellow but the location is superb. The rooms are small and basic but clean. Breakfast is brought to the room in the morning, an omelette and toast with coffee, all quite tasty. Considering the price, an overall good place to stay if you just want a base to see the sights of Mumbai. Would stay again.

Maybe we're lucky, but for the regulat price we got deluxe room with ac and bathroom attached. Highspeed wifi in the room. Staff was really nice - always smiling and willing to solve problems. They also let us to leave our luggage on reception for the whole day after we checked out. And what is more they let us to take shower when we came to pick up luggage! Strongly recomend this hotel. It's probably hard to find better for it's prise in Mumbai.

Brilliant location and value for money
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in Dec 2013. The hotel shares the only lift with other residents in the building which might mean a bit of a longer wait if you have luggage. The location of the hotel is amazing, being just opposite to the marine drive and next door to the Wankhede stadium. The nearby area is quite safe to roam around. We stayed out till late at nights sitting on the marine drive and walking to Colaba. We were given a room which had a sea view although it was only through a small window. The breakfast was very limited and gets delivered to the room. The room was decent size given space commands a massive premium in India's financial capital. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful with our queries. Overall, a decent budget hotel and I would recommend it. Its definitely value for money.

Adequate but no better.
Stayed for two nights. Hotel in good location on Marine drive very close to the cricket stadium and 5 mins from churchgate stn. The room was fine but not overly clean. It was not serviced in between the days we stayed and there was no hot water. Overall not a bad place at all for the money but trying to give an honest review. I would stay there again but my expectations at this price level in Mumbai are not high.
