Enjoyable family vacation

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Pros: Easy to get anywhere by hoping on bus in front of hotel. Service was very good.
Cons: Softer beds, better bedding, comforters.
Location: We went to puerto morelos to snorkel and it was amazing! We also walked down to aqua world for a snorkeling tour. It was ok. Service was good
Stayed four days with my husband and three kids ages 18, 15, and 12. Service was wonderful. Beach was beautiful. Our favorite waiter was Rene at the buffet. We had adjoining rooms that was perfect for our family. The only complaint I have is the food was ok and the beds were a little hard.

Very Pleasant Stay

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Pros: Staff, pools and beach.
Cons: Food quality and restaurant availability especially for families.
Location: Great location and near everything in the hotel zone.
We enjoyed fun in the sun with our 3 young kids. There is a little for everyone and is very family friendly. Food is okay and service is good. The beach can not be beat! Really good only all fronts, but not GREAT.

Pros: Able to get a exclusive rental van to Chichen Itza without buying the package deal. Much better deal and fit out time schedule.
Cons: ATM withdrawals charged a $20 exchange and $5 service fee. Be sure to bring enough cash.
Location: Watersports through AquaWorld; bus downtown was only $1 each way
First time doing an all inclusive deal; absolutely worth the value. Very good arrangement of non-stop flights. Omni hotel in Cancun was fantastic. Very memorable and friendly staff members. Thank you to Renee from La Paloma for reserving large tables for us in the evenings. Thanks to Jorge and Adan from Pino Colada for the great morning breakfast services. Food was excellent at the reservation only restaurants (Da Vinci and Deva). Hotel amenities very nice and away close to but away from the spring break scene at the oasis nearby.

I think everything is good but the sound proof for the room sucks and the room is not that pretty as I expect

Wonderful spring break!

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: Beautiful views of the ocean. Friendly staff.
Cons: Earlier room-cleaning times (our room was sometimes not cleaned until 4pm). More options for older kids, in the 10-12 year old range.
Location: Chichen Itza tour. La Isla Mall via taxi.
The hotel is lovely. Incredibly clean and the lobby smells amazing. The pools are spotless and the beach in front of the hotel is pristine. The food was quite good. We mostly ate at the main dining room where it's buffet style dining-definitely the most kid-friendly dining option. The Mexican restaurant by the pool is also quite good! Self-serve chips and salsa! Who can beat that? All hotel staff (aside from check-in staff) were amazingly friendly and hospitable. A couple of warnings about anyone planning to stay at this hotel: -If they notice a family checking in, they will immediately pull you aside after you check in and try to get you to commit to a time-share tour. Total buzz kill after traveling for 10 hours and just wanting to get our swim suits on and go to the pool. -While they say ALL INCLUSIVE, and to leave your wallet at home, people still tip. I don't think we got lesser service because we did not tip, but because others do, it will make you feel awkward when you do not. -Chair reservers: Happens at every resort. People go down to the pool at 6am and lay random hotel towels on chairs, and then when you get there, yourselves, at 8am, and even though no one is at the pool, all the chairs are reserved by nameless/faceless towels. Supposedly the hotel does not allow this, but no one was enforcing the 'no reserving chairs' rule. I suppose our only advice here is to not be a rule follower like we were trying to be. -The KIDS CLUB is definitely for younger kids (4-7).

Our Oasis!

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: On the beach, staff is helpful, food is great!
Location: Golfing at Cancun Country Club was a treat. Golf course in great shape and beautifully manicured. Now, if only our golf was that great! :)
Love this place! Truly our perfect week getaway to relax!

Nice hotel, only thing is wifi

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Wonderful but poor wifi, didn't know I had a flight change till an hour before the flight. Though i should have looked on the computers they supply the night before, if the wifi was better my phone would have gotten the email. But don't let the wifi be a bad thing I looked at it as an escape, no one could get in touch with me for a week so it was also nice
