Stayed for one night in November as visiting family in the area. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was perfectly clean and warm with all the facilities you would expect. Bar service and food was good. There were two functions on, so slight wait to be served, but bar staff were working as fast as they could, very efficient. Hotel take note : should provide more staff when hotel as full as this! Breakfast was buffet style and excellent with lots of choice.
Excellent value for money.
We booked this last minute as had been let down by Forrest Holidays refusing to let one of our young foster children stay so we had to find something else quickly on a bank holiday weekend to be able to attend the nearby Carfest for Children in Need! Tylney Hall staff were wonderful and went to a lot of trouble to accommodate our party of three children and four adults. We had a warm welcome from James the concierge who was a great hit with our foster children. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious with excellent service. The children loved the pools and all the facilities. All in all a beautiful place to stay for a special treat, easily accessible from the M3 and London.
I travel a lot with work and this is one of the nicer hotels that I've stayed in. Set in lovely countryside with huge amounts of parking, this is somewhere to stay for business or as part of a break with your other half
Good food, and their own ales, which were very quaffable. Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms. Spacious too. Excellent beer garden and quiet location. Convenient for Farnborough, where I was working. Didn't have much custom when I was there, so I hope they're doing ok as I'd like to use again. Continental only breakfast, but that was fine for me.
I only spent a grand total of 6 hours at the hotel as I arrived very late & had to leave early for business meetings. The room was clean & comfortable with everything required for a shirt stay including complimentary bottled water. Most importantly however was how kind the member of staff was, I contacted the hotel to let them know that I would be arriving late & was delayed even further by a traffic accident on the motorway, finally arriving at approx 12.30, Matthew waited at the hotel for me & couldn't have been more laid back about my ridiculously late arrival.
