Cigarette smoke all over, even indoors. The parking situation was terrible. The room was tiny. The breakfast was overrun by loud rude cruise ship groups. I don’t recommend this place.

Our hotel is a no smoking hotel but if there's any guests who smokes inside we can not control it at all. Just if someone comes and communicates it at the reception we can change you room or so something about it.We’re sad to hear that you were not satisfied with the amount of people at the dinning room, theres a lot of groups during the summer as its a Tour Operators Hotel also. As your guest experience is really important to us, we’ve already taken several actions to ensure that it goes better for the future. Close to the Hurtigruten pier.
Arrived early in the morning but was allowed to check in anyhow. Excellent breakfast buffet included. 24 hour front desk service. Basic room with good internet speed.

A good option in the North Cape, due to limited choice. but not up to international standard for the price. It look more like a 2 stars hotels

Try not to get the rooms with a view if you don’t want anyone piercing at your window from a huge cruise ship. Otherwise, the hotel is adequate for our needs. The location is good.

Inconvenient for Independent Travelers
Our room was comfortable and clean. I liked having a soap dish in the shower along with the soap dispenser. The parking was convenient right behind the hotel. Although there was no entrance to the hotel from the back. You had to walk around to the front to enter the hotel. The Tourist Information was right behind the hotel. The pillows were fluffy! Our breakfast was almost a nightmare! We entered the breakfast area at 6 AM, only to find that all the tables had been reserved for tour groups. The one tour that was there acted as though we were intruding in their territory. Our kind hostess, Ulrike, did say that we could sit at our table for 45 minutes. At that time another tour would be using this table. The breakfast items were minimal, compared to all the other hotels during our 3 week trip. This was the first hotel that did not have decaf coffee. There was coffee available at the front desk, for a charge of 15 NOK!!! Pretty Cheap! There were very little receptacles in the room. The only one I could find was in the bathroom.

Good hotel but staff know nothing
Hotel was great but staff (mainly from Sweden) knew nothing about local area. They said go to nordkapp.no website but when I had further questions they were no help

Reasonably convenient, comfy bed, poor check-in
last minute choice on a last minute trip. Check-in was bad. Arrived at midnight after long day. After 1/2 hr trying to be check in, person finally gave up and gave me a key to the room and said it would be dealt with in the morning. Very thin curtain for a place that has 24 hr daylight. Poor quality breakfast. Hotel is usually used by bus tour groups. I would not return.

Rica Hotel Honningsvaag
The room is quite small and the facilities are not good enough. The internet is not friendlyused when comparing with the other hotels in Finland and Norway. However, the service in the restaurant is very good. The degree of the comfort is not matched with the high price.

Hotelli ja huone oli siisti ja kylpyhuone niin puhdas kuin olisi eilen remontoitu. Huoneeseen ei kuulunut mitään ääniä ulkoa eikä sisältä. Hotellin parkkipaikat olisi hyvä merkitä selkeämmin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Aamupala oli hyvä. Vain ruuhka vähensi viihtyvyyttä ja sujuvuutta.

Mangler opgradering af hotellet
Hotellet er meget slidt. Trænger til en opgradering, så det kommer op på Scandic standard. Sengen er meget blød, næsten som at ligge i hængekøje. Toilettet er absolut ikke for små mennesker, er selv 185 cm og kunne ikke nå gulvet.

Schade, für die tollen Skandic Hotels.
An der Rezeption wurde man abgespiesen und als dumm verkauft worden. Sie haben miteinander getuschelt, ob sie uns wohl ein schlechteres Zimmer geben wollen. (Leider haben wir das aber verstanden). Tja, wir waren dann das doch anschauen gegangen und es hat schrecklich gestunken. Wir sind dann nochmals in die Rezeption gegeangen und hatten mitgeteilt, dass wir in diesem Zimmer nicht wohnen können, worauf wir dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen hatten. Alles war sehr, sehr klein, man hatte fast keinen Platz. Frühstück war ein Massenabfertigung, für die Touri-Busse. Es war das teuerste Hotel von Skandic und definitiv das schlechteste. Skandic har nicht mehr den Standard, denn es vor Ajhren ncoh hatte. Wird sind 11 Tage bei Skandic gewesen, aber das wird wohl Geschichte sein. Wir sind fast überall entäuscht worden. Schade für diese Gruppe, ich war früher sehr geschäftlich in Skandinavien, das Standard hat aber massiv nachgelassen.

Vi var innom Scandic Honningsvåg i løpet av sommeren 2023 som et pitstop for å se Nordkapp. Vi ankom rundt klokken 13 og fikk beskjed om at rommet ikke var klart (det er selvsagt ok) og la igjen bagasjen for å se oss rundt om i byen. Da vi ankom klokken 16 var rommet klart, men vi fikk ikke 2 enkeltsenger som vi bad om. Rommet var heller ikke tilstrekkelig rengjort da det var en del støv på spesielt bordet. Utover det var betjeningen hyggelig. Vi prøvde ikke frokosten.

Hotelli on jo ikääntynyt ja tyyliltään vanhanaikainen kokolattiamattoineen, mutta huoneemme oli todella suuri, hyväkuntoinen ja erittäin siisti. Parisänky oli kapeahko ja aika huono, jokainen kyljen kääntö sai koko sängyn heilumaan. Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen valikoimaltaan, mutta ihan ok.

Kun engelsktalende i resepsjonen som ikke alltid var like hyggelige. Rommet var dårlig standard, ingen skapplass, veldig smal dobbeltseng, ikke blandebatteri på bad, lite miljøvennlig, få kontakter, alt for høyt toalett og dårlig plass. Kaotisk ved frokost, ikke kapasitet til alle gjestene. Bruk smørpakker og ikke la alle grave i samme butt, ingen alternativ til brød.

Decent enough for a nights sleep. A bit old and a lot of buss loads of people queuing at the breakfast. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and turkey bacon was looking a bit pale for my taste.

A good one, except the noice
The situation is very good in the center and they have a good parking area. The breakfast included all the basic elements. The rooms are not new anymore, but quite nice, anyway. We had a nice view through the window to the harbour and see. The only thing is that there's really no sound proofing doors, all the noices from the corridor could be easily heard. From outside you couldn't hear anything. Still I could stay here again.

Blir oppgitt når vi kommer på et norsk hotell og betjeningen ikke snakker eller forstår norsk. Ikke alle forstår engelsk. Utenlandsk reiseselskap får reservere bord til frokost, det fikk ikke vi.
