“Good hotel stay in Hong Kong”
The hotel was very convienient, since it is located in the Tsim Sha Tsui District. The hotel is very clean, although the room is a little small. Overall, however, it was a good stay. I might stay in this hotel the next time I travel to Hong Kong.
“SAMO says 'The Luxe Manor' is the best!”
Our recent stay at The Luxe Manor in Hong Kong exceeded our expectations. We had read enough about the design, the central location of the hotel, its proximity to the shopping and restaurant areas, etc. and we were very very impressed,. The Luxe Manor was fantastic, from the moment you enter the Lobby you note the different appearance, beautifully designed and uniquely furnished. Many tourists and local celebrities (we found out later) use the Lobby for publicity photo shoots! The rooms spotlessly clean are cosy and decorated stylishly. Staff are very well trained and extremely helpful. Upon your enquiry, they quickly pull out a Tourist map and draw on it showing your present location and the areas that you want to visit as well as the transport route to get there. The breakfast is fantastic! We recommend that you takeadvantage of the full breakfast which will mean you can skip lunch and have a good dinner. The locations 39 Kimberley Road is great within a 5 minutes walk to Nathan Road - one of the main arteries of Hong Kong - with a huge variety of shops. Be aware of all those street hawkers who approach you constantly to offer you best copies of Rolex watches, Louis Vuitton bags, etc. Best to stay clear of all of that stuff... The north end of Nathan Road will take you to Mong Kok area, another shopping section - but we found the quality not as good as other areas such as Stanley market. When we return to Hong Kong we will definitely return to The Luxe Manor.
“Quirky Decor”
Would recommend this hotel to those looking for something different to the big chains. Location worked well for our first visit to HK, rooms small which I understand is typical of HK. Staff very obliging.
“Nice Hotel, better for Singles”
The hotel was very nice, clean, and location is good. A block away from Knutsford Terrace which has several restaurants and bars which is convenient. Wireless internet worked well. Free Breakfast buffet was very good. Liked the fact that you needed your room key to use the elevator. The only down side was the really small room and the bathroom door is frosted glass so not as much privacy as I would have liked, the other person in the room can hear everything. This is why I think it would be better for singles. Maybe the larger rooms are different. Overall though, I would recommend.
“Downtown Hong Kong- Unique!”
If you want to try something new and different with lots of exotic style this is the place- even the flatscreen TV's are hidden within pictures frames. Great service and walking distance to everything.
“Luxe Manor is an amazing experience.”
I've been to Hong Kong many, many times and stayed in hotels ranging all the way from 2 to 5 stars. I can honestly say without any doubt that Luxe Manor is the very best hotel I've stayed at in terms of value for money. The quirky contemporary decor adds to the thrill of a very comfortable environment. Staff are very helpful and polite and the location is fantastic. It's right next to Knutsford Terrace which provides a very entertaining night life for travellers on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. I'll definitely be going back to Luxe Manor.
“Very impressed with this boutique hotel”
From check in to checkout efficient service. Breakfast was filling and ample to choose from. Overall excellent hotel to use as a base to explore hong kong and yet an oasis within the thriving metropolis. Certainly would return here.
“very impressive”
I stayed at the Luxe Manor for 5 days and found nothing to fault about it. Its ideally located in Kowloon just off Nathan rd and is within walking distance of the mtr stations and ferry services to hong kong island. The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was to hard for them to do. Special mention must go to Louis and his team at the concierge desk for there work behind the scenes. Well worth taking up the breakfast option as the buffet was very plentiful and filling and a good variety to eat. Overall very excellent value for money
“Wonderful hotel...but a few caveats to watch for....”
First, I loved the hotel! It was conveniently located in a nice area near the Kowloon Park, Miramar shopping center, and right in front of Knutsford terrace. That being said, do NOT get a low room facing the back (towards the Knutsford restaurants) as it gets loud on the weekends. Also, if at all possible avoid getting a room ending in 14 as they are on the SMALL side and the window faces right into another building (an old apartment building) so there is no opening the blinds unless you want to be VERY visible and vice versa. The rooms are comfortable (great sheets and pillows) and clean. The hotel has free breakfast as well as free wi-fi connection.
“Cannot wait till next visit!!”
Smiling faces everywhere at the hotel. Well presented staff and very courteous. We were upgraded to a studio unit and had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was so good and varied . A very good kictchen staff made the morning meal a pleasure to enjoy in a relaxed dining area. The cleaning and service staff did a top job. The hotel is in a good position for a easy walk to the Star ferry terminal and lower Kowloon area shops. would not hesitate to stay there in the future.
