“Absolutely fantastic”
Comfortable, cinvinent, clean and great service!
“Would go again”
Although some distance from downtown HK there is a free shuttle bus. Shuttle to Airport only $HK140. Handy to Mall and MTR which gets to HK in 15 mins. Free internet facilities. Perhaps could have done with more than two free internet terminals for people without lap tops or ipad etc., which were in rooms.
“Very comfortable, great service, will certainly be back.”
Stayed here for two nights on business. The room / suite was lovely and for a fantastic price. Didn't have time to try out the pool but it looked great when I did a recce. The American-themed bar seemed popular with western visitors, and I get the impression that it is a home from home for some. Very firendly and helpful staff. I was visiting companies in Chang'an town, so the location was good but not perfect - I could have booked somewhere closer but went for this one based upon the reviews. Glad I did, and I will certianly be back.
“Solid four star hotel in residential area of Hong Kong (Sha Tin)”
The Royal Park Hotel is a business oriented hotel that is also very suitable for tourists. It is located in a residential suburb of Hong Kong, some 15-20 minutes from the central area by MTR. Public transport is excellent in Hong Kong so the location is not an issue, with direct links to all areas and attractions being readily available. Service at the hotel was exceptional, and staff were helpful, right down to providing me with a late checkout at no additional cost. I also arrived at the hotel mid-morning, check in was speedy and I and was allocated a room immediately. There are restaurant options on the premises that provide an excellent choice of food types, however they are pricey by Hong Kong standards. However the hotel is connected to a huge shopping mall that offers a variety of options in terms of restaurants and cafes, right down to the western branded ones. The breakfast buffet is pricey by local standards, however if you are after a convenient option that is similar to that provided in hotel restaurants worldwide, it presents as an excellent choice (offers a variety of food options). Shopping options in the adjoining complex are endless. However as indicated previously, access to Hong Kong central is also easy...15-20 minutes by MTR. One hint for travellers to Hong Kong.... Purchase an Octopus Card and load it up. This card can be used on all public transport and for payment when shopping in many stores.
“Lovely quality hotel in Sha Tin”
Lovely hotel at a price lower than this for this in Kowloon. Easy to get to from the airport on the A41 bus thats stops right outside hotel and operates every 20 minutes.- took about 45 minutes each way. Helped that as i needed an extra bed they provided an upgrade to a suite. Buffet food in 2+2 restuarant was very good. only thing was very worn or water damaged carpet there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again/
“Reliable hotel with high standards”
This is the second time I've stayed, the Sha Tin location being convenient for my work visits. The MTR railway station is ten minutes walk away through the attached extensive air conditioned shopping mall, and so access to other parts is easy; to Hong Kong island for instance it's fairly simple (two changes) and takes less than half an hour. The hotel amply meets all reasonable requirements for international travel. Minor quibbles: it would have been comfortable to have a couple of armchairs in my ('entry level') room, rather than the somewhat spartan 'chaise longue'; charging for internet access misses a chance to cultivate customer good will (though I think charging is standard in Hong Kong); and eating in the hotel, especially for breakfast, is best avoided in favour of the opportunities in the mall unless someone else is picking up the bill.
“Worth every cent”
Everything about this hotel is perfect except that it is out of town. With easy excess to trains makes it worth the extra travel time required to get to the city attractions. Rooms are very large, clean and modern with great views and a swimming pool. My criteria for a good hotel has always been, would I go back? and with this hotel that would be a big YES! A special thank you to the cleaning lady who informed management when my wife was sick, they came to offer assistance, perfect customer relations.
“Great Hotel at Good Price Near Subway”
Great hotel at a cheaper price than you will pay on the Island or Kowloon. Very nice room that is bigger than most in Hong Kong. Next to big mall with lots of shopping and restaurants. Short walk through walkway and mall to subway which is primarily how we traveled to Kowloon, Disney, etc. I picked this hotel because of its price and proximity to the subway and was extremely satisfied.
“impressive”
cant find any fault with the hotel or staffs. check in late, phone them and they were extremely helpful. on arriving check in was very good, had a free upgrade even thought i was very very late.check out was quick without any fuss.
“Great if you don't mind being away from HK island and other hot spots.”
I used to live in HK and have stayed in a couple of other hotels in Kowloon before, but I wanted to try something different. Chose this hotel because I wanted to try staying away from the crowds of MongKok and HK island. Was a nice change and even though it's a bit father from all the main hot spots, it is still convenient to get to places because the hotel is connected to the MTR station, bus depot, and big shopping mall. Good price and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Just one bus ride to/from airport. Only negative thing to say is the internet is expensive and there was a very large and strange stain on the carpet but everything else was clean and good!
