“Ideal for HK exhibiton center”

If you want a convinient hotel for attendig an exhibition at the HK convention center this is your hotel.

“Great location-literally steps away from ferry and MTR.”

This is a very good hotel- You can't beat the location. It's right next to the convention center and access to the the MTR and the ferry is very close. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I was mostly satisfied. The one flaw I found was that my room didn't have any hooks in the bathroom,

“Hong Kong For 2 days”

I stopped by in Hong Kong on my way to Beijing. This was a perfect location as it was close to the ferries, the buses and very close to the majority of the night life. The staff was incredible. They were so helpful and so extremely polite. I would definitely stay there again.

“Location and value in HK”

I've stayed at the Renaissance now a few times. it's a great location for me, for both business and pleasure. Right in the herat of Wanchai, and just up the road from Central. You're also very close to the Star Ferry for Kowloon. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, or a short taxi ride. I used the gym everyday, and despite the fact that it's located in the Hyatt, it has everything you need. I'm sure I'll b back next time I'm in HK.

“Good Experience”

This hotel was my 2nd choice as the Harbour Grand Kowloon was booked out. It's hard to fault the hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive from the airport pick up to the concierge. We had a great view on the 23rd floor. Booked two rooms from my family of 5. The rooms are perhaps a bit dated but they were perfectly fine. I understand there is refurbishment underway although I didn't hear any building noise at all. The location is good, within 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai MTR and also near the Star ferry. Hong Kong's MTR is the best way to get around. Really clean & efficient service. The only two issues I would point out are the lack of nearby shopping centres / fashion outlets if your main interest is shopping. Also we ate in the main hotel restaurant and had the lunch buffet on arrival which was great value for money and a fantastic selection. However we also ate there one evening. There is a substantial difference in the set price between lunch and dinner which was not explained to us. To be fair I brought this up with the Customer Service Manager on check out and he gave me a discount on the total bill. We even used the hotel pool and had it to ourselves. Well it was their winter!

“Generally satisfied”

I was pleased to stay at Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel for my Christmas holidays with my families. Rooms were gerally fine though they were not that spacious. However, I was impressed with their breakfast as they had variety of food with fresh squeezed juice every morining to choose from. In addition, their fitness and swimming pool were really relaxing and well maintained.

“hong kong renaissance harbor view disaster”

when we checked in we ere told there was going to be construction and there would be much noise. they upgraded us for that to a nicer room. but the nicer room was a disaster. the water in the suite shower would not go down and worst of all there was a leak from the above suite toilet. whenever you sat on the toilet the pee from the other toilets would come down on you. it was disgusting. our bathroom was full of pee from the other suite. gross!!! one good thing about the hotel was service. they agreed to refund us back our entire stay for this incident. i would recommend to others due to good service.

“Almost as good as 5-star”

This hotel has splendid harbor views, great amenities, and benefits from being adjacent to the Grand Hyatt while avoiding the massive crowds at the Grand Hyatt. BEST OF ALL AT THE RENAISSANCE IS THE CONCIERGE SERVICE: THE REGULAR CONCIERGE LOCATED MY CAMERA AFTER I HAD CHECKED OUT AND GOT IT TO ME BEFORE I LEFT THE HOTEL, AND THE HEAD CONCIERGE PERFORMED A MIRACLE WITH THE BUREAUCRACY OF GETTING A SUPERFAST VISA TO CHINA.
