“Get the executive floor all inclusive plan”
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on executive floor with all inclusive plan, well worth the extra money. Pro -courteous staff and no lineups checking in and out -close to everything, 3 min from Jordan subway -lots to do around neighbourhood -high speed internet -hotel exclusive lounge for this floor 15 seconds away make it very comfortable to relax in, making it almost unnecessary to stay in hotel room except for sleeping -food and drinks available in lounge all day free if you get the package - quality of food on this floor is actually better than the hotel restaurant downstairs - executive lounge great to meet your fellow travellers over a glass of wine and cheese or expresso. -Get the hotel travel adaptor for HK$80. Great for travelling or as gifts. Same one sold for over HK$300 in cathay online store Con -no WIFI in hotel room. Make sure your device have a 8 pin network RJ45 or you are out of luck -food in restaurant buffet is so so - adequate but not the greatest - since the package includes the breakfast buffet, it's not bad. I will not personally pay the HK$125 per person for the buffet. -room is small but this is hong kong after all and if .you get the executive package, this is not a factor with the lounge access -No central heating, this may be hard for people from Canada to believe, but the weather is not that cold to worry about. They will provide portable heater when requested. Order one ahead of time if a cold night is forecast.
“Superb Hong Kong hotel”
Stayed for a week on the Premier floor. Staff especially Jack extremely helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good though coffee machines & toaster were annoying - 3 times through the toaster to get any semblance of toast. Free internet connection was fast. Located 5 minutes from Jordan MTR station and near to lots of bus stops including those for Star Ferry. Room fairly spacious & quiet. Bed comfortable. Large efficient shower. In room safe could be a bit bigger but managed to get laptop in with a bit of effort. As someone who travels a lot I wish all hotels I stay in were this good.
“Fantastic location at a reasonable price!”
This was my second time visiting Hong Kong and my first time at this hotel. Location is great along Nathan Rd. along with being a short walk (less than 5 mins) from the nearest MTR station (Jordan). I found the hotel to be very clean along with fairly modern, if not a touch trendy, decor throughout. Staff at the front desk were perfectly courteous and helpful, as were the concierge and bellhop. For my 4-night stay, I found the room rate to be fairly reasonable, especially for the location nearby the main tourist and shopping areas of the Kowloon peninsula. I did, however, find the hotel entrance a tad inconvenient: upon entering, you must take an escalator up to the main lobby before you can take the elevator to your room. Minor quibble, which only took its toll given the length of my stay. Internet access comes at an additional charge, but during my stat, wifi was only available within the lobby and not in the room. I highly recommend this hotel to others, especially if you even catch a price discount. Overall, you will not be disappointed.
“Good value”
Clean and comfortable accommodation conveniently located near Jordan MTR and Temple street night markets. On site restaurant provides quality meals at a reasonable price, and live music and happy hour is offered in the on site bar. 24 hour reception makes this hotel convenient for late night arrival. Free internet corner and concierge service add value for money. Staff are friendly and room size is adequate.
“Great Location”
The hotel is in great location, but the room is small. Room was clean, except our bathroom vent took some smoky smell from other rooms, but the hotel took care of it quickly.
“Ok for your holiday”
This hotel offers reasonable value but you are treated more as a number than a valued guest. The location on Nathan road is great with a bus stop right out the front and mtr station around the corner. The room was clean and neat and fine for a short stay but most importantly it was quiet with thick walls and dark blinds allowing you to sleep in peace away from the chaos outside in the street. Overall a comfortable stay in a hectic city. The lobby lounge was great with a quality singing duo providing excellent entertainment in the evening.
“Novotel (Jordan) Nathan Rd review”
The Novotel hotel in Jordan is situated in a convenient and shopping friendly region of Kowloon. It is close to transport facilities such as the MTR subway transit system, bus services on Nathan Rd and it is convenient to travel to the closest ferry service via the MTR system. The quality of service that was experienced during my stay was average. I arrived at the hotel for check in and was advised that the 'room was not available'. As a result of this delay, we were offered free drinks at the bar next to the check in area and I was advised that a service staff will notify my partner and I at the bar when the room was ready (estimated to be in approx. 10 mins). 10 mins past and no notification was provided. About 30 mins later, I walked over to the check in counter and requested for a change in rooms, then suddenly my room was ready. This is poor service in my opinion and does not validate an outstanding review. While entering the room, I found the area to be very small and cramped despite my multiple experiences travelling to HK this room was exceptionally cramped. The bed was firm and uncomfortable and unfortunately praises could not be made for the pillows. The wall mounted TV is great, the cleanliness of the room was excellent and all other aspects of the experience was satisfactory. Overall, I would provide a review rating of 3 out of 5 being an average hotel for the price paid.
“Overall a good hotel”
Overall great hotel. Location to mtr isn't the best, quite a walk from nathan rd. Room is quite small, but functional, modern, and clean. Love the toiletries esp. the shampoo and shower gel. I would definitely stay here again.
“I STAY THERE AGAIN FOR SURE”
i read review that others posted and sometimes get scared off from booking a hotel...i have used expedia now for about a 14 differrent hotels, car rentals airline etc and have been very impressed. Can remember if i read any negative comments about this hotel but if you do, forget them and stay and you will see what i mean...it was one of the cheapest hotels and i was expecting so much less and i was super happy and frankly very impressed with everything from room, to service and even restuarant had great food.
“good location for a reasonable price”
The location of the hotel in Kowloon is good, close to Jordans subway station (5 min walk), which is only 2 stops away from Hong Kong Island, The airport express stop at Eaton (2 min walk) provides easy connection to the airport. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around, The rooms are okay, don't forget this is Hong Kong and space is lilited. The lobby bar offers several computers with internet connection.
